Hi, is it possible to achieve the similar "behavior" by using async callback and enabling the auto ack? This will ensure the message to always be acknowledged in time regardless of the processing time. Although this might lead to high CPU usage since it will create multiple threads for the async callback.

When I start the consumer I only get the "Started consuming" message, but it looks like I never hit the message received callback. RabbitMQ also shows that every message gets instantly consumed/acknowledged. Any Ideas why?

Can we do the same ex with Qpid Proton python lib, which has AMQP 1.0 version also.....?
