in court there is a prosecutor who brings up the alleged crimes of a suspect in question and tries to get said person convicted. The satan (literally translating into “adversary”) acts as a prosecutor in the heavenly tribunal, trying to bring up our transgressions to get us “convicted.” The Judge, Hashem, is the One who ultimately decides whether the accusations hold any weight however. The prosecutor can’t do anything independently of the Judge and the Judge is the only entity that can mete out the sentence at the end of the day. The prosecutor is as nothing before the Judge and the Judge has all the power. The prosecutor just fulfills a role in the court setting. This prosecutor defers to the Judge and assents to every decision the Judge makes.

@@martinkulik9466 dogs are spiritually impure animals. It’s not disrespecting them to state this, it’s just a fact. Listen completely to what the Rabbi said

So I've watched the first 30 minutes and there's been no mention of the tragedy at Meron which must have already happened ?
@TicoJefferson3 жыл бұрын
Based on the first minute this was on the night of LagBaOmer, so I would assume it began around 20:30 to 22:00. The accident happened at almost 1am and certainly it took some more time to be reported there were fatalities. Honestly it looks like you're just looking for reasons to criticize.

@@TicoJefferson thanks for the info which clarifies the situation. I was wondering if he mentioned it later in the shiiur but obviously that explains it. I couldn't understand why he hadn't started with it which would be normal for him. I'm distraught about what's happened and hope to hear R Mizrachi's opinion at some stage. Actually I was only trying to find out what was going on, there was no criticism in what I asked. The last sentence of your comment is however very judgemental towards me. Perhaps you should give it some thought. Shabat shalom

@@martinkulik9466 if you discredit the Torah, then I guess the only thing that is important is your opinion. And about dogs: not all topics can be argued. This is how parents educate children, it is culture and preference and it is not open for arguement. I cannot change a national outlook.

He is in israel now, this lecture was filmed earlier in 2021, much earlier than the disaster. When he comes back he will do his shiurim live and probably mention these current events.
