no... the nachash didn't say anything about touching the aitz hada'at... chava said "we're not even supposed to touch it" which chazal said was an add on "d'rabbanan" made up by adam as a siyag... the nachash says the medresh pushed her hand into the fruit and said as quoted in the chumash... "you shall not die..." which then made adam look mistaken in his words to her as to what Hashem had told him before her creation... so she thought he was wrong about the eating part as well and so she ate... it was all adam's fault for not clearly distinguishing between the rabbinic decree and Hashem's commandment... all of this according to rav hirsch I believe... truth.out...

This doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. If you are rude to people and bully them, they will no longer go to shul. They will want to minimize their involvement with the community. This means fewer mitzvahs and less money for the needy and scholars and infrastructure. There is a time to rebuke, but talking in shul on Shabbat is not one of them. It also depends on the intention. Especially if women and kids are there but the Sephardic synagogues I’ve seen are not female-friendly anyway it’s a guys club
