yjkxmpl, A eunuch is a slave that has been castrated, he is owned by his Jewish master. The foreigner is a Caananite who is either a slave to a Jew with the same rights as a robot or one of the Canaanite nations was a foreigner and went to Moses and they did a partial conversion and were semi slaves and were allowed to be wood cutters and water drawers. It's in the book of Joshua. (this answer is from my husband) You don't want to be one of these and there is no modern equivalent.

I don't get point what if a Gentile keeps Shabath. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm praising Hashem on this day. The Jews are considering as Shabbath as their copyright

joyson dsouza Hi! It says in the Jewish law, Got that keeps Shabbath must be put to death. גוי ששומר שבת חיב מיתה. You don't need to keep Shabbath to praise Hashem. and yes, Hashem have Shabbat specifically for the Jews.

Where are the seven laws mentioned in the Torah? Could you please elaborate
@bookmouse770
@bookmouse770 7 жыл бұрын
Joyson dsouza, G-d made all people and loves everyone.....7 basic laws for everyone but Jews. If you want to convert you have to convert with an Orthodox Rabbi whose conversion is accepted in Israel, then you observe all the mitzvot of the Torah and there is 613 of them. If you want to be a rightous gentile you have a place in heaven and all you need to do is The 7 Noachide Laws (I found this at Aish HaTorah web site). The Jewish idea is that the Torah of Moses is a truth for all humanity, whether Jewish or not. The Torah (as explained in the Talmud - Sanhedrin 58b) presents seven mitzvot for non-Jews to observe. These seven laws are the pillars of human civilization, and are named the "Seven Laws of Noah," since all humans are descended from Noah. They are: 1. Do not murder.2. Do not steal.3. Do not worship false gods.4. Do not be sexually immoral.5. Do not eat a limb removed from a live animal. (don't be cruel to animals)6. Do not curse God.7. Set up courts and bring offenders to justice. Maimonides explains that any human being who faithfully observes these laws earns a proper place in heaven. So you see, the Torah is for all humanity, no conversion necessary.
@joysondsouza2168
@joysondsouza2168 7 жыл бұрын
bookmouse770 All laws have to be followed, you can't call oneself as righteous just because you follow Nohaide law. The Torah doesn't tell about 7 laws. I know about 613 mitzvots in the written Torah. I believe everything Torah says, restrictions are put are humans on who has to follow. I don't need to convert to call myself as a Jew, because God knows what he wants from me. it's a good great heart and keep all the mitzvots

@preussenuberalles1682
@preussenuberalles1682 6 жыл бұрын
Indeed, gentiles are to abide the Noahite laws but in no sense they can be forbidden to observe any of the 606 additional mitzvot given to Israel. Let alone be put to death for observing them! If a gentile does because of rational thinking instead of love and obedience to HaShem, it will be of no avail for them. I wonder where you got that prohibition from.

That is absurd! Where were the Jews when the Sabbath was initiated on the seventh day of creation? THERE WERE NO JEWS YET! Was Noah a Jew? NO! NOAH LIVED LONG BEFORE JUDAH WAS EVEN BORN! THERE CAN BE NO PROHIBITION OF ANYONE WHO WANTS TO OBEY HA-SHEM! ANYONE CAN REST ON THE SEVENTH DAY AND EAT KOSHER IF THEY CHOOSE!! HOW DARE YOU PUT YOURSELVES IN THE PLACE OF HA-SHEM TO DECIDE WHO CAN LIVE ACCORDING TO TORAH!!!
