+elliot may Because you dont see the big pictures. When a lady walks in the streets showing half her body, its not only the single guys who see. The married guys look to, they look so much and at so many because its so tempting, they start to have fantasies and desires, they come home to their wife of 20 years who gave him 5 children and as result lost her body, and now she wants attention from him but he cant give it to her because he has other women on his mind, he wishes he was with a younger nicer looking woman like the woman he saw that day. Tension adds up, the wife can feel his mind is elsewhere, he becomes addicted to porn, he doesnt sleep with his wife anymore because she cant satisfy his lusts, they start fighting because he doesnt care for her much anymore, they get divorced. she suffers, the children suffer from the divorce, one child goes to drugs, another rebels and goes with bad friends, another child cant focus at school anymore and drops out, a family is destroyed. and its all because a secretary had to have 2 buttons open instead of 1, and because of all the women out there who have such low self esteem they need the worlds attention, a true beautiful woman doesnt have to show her body for free. i know this story sounds far fetched, but its not. The divorce rate is high for a reason. drugs are being used for a reason. and alot of it is because the lusts men have gotten from the naked girls in the streets. its a shame.

Avi Alalo I think there's a lot more to why people divorce, turn to drugs, have low self-esteem. I totally agree that everything is over sexualised in society but there's a lot more to why relationships break down, also even if the secretary does indirectly break a family to pieces because of what she wears, that isn't really her fault, she has the freedom to wear what she likes in moderation. are we going to make it the law to be totally covered up? it just wouldn't work, what about men taking off their shirts in hot weather? should we make that unlawful? ... this comment is with respect.

we cant make anything illegal because thats the low level of society. Now theres alot of types of cancers, but to find a cure for only 1 would be a huge huge revolution. we cant say "well who cares theres alot of other cancers anyways". Its a very big deal, if women would dress modestly, we would live in a different world believe it or not. Im telling you as a man, that when a man loses controls and looks at the women in the street, its devastating to his mind and life and the way he treats his wife. Even if his wife is a model, just looking at other models makes him lose interest in his wife. And in this life theres something called karma, in judaism its called measure for measure. All the women who are immodest, will pay for it in their own marriages and life. and if you see an immodest woman who looks like she has a great marriage, hire a private investigator and youll see how horrible their marriage is. And thats for messing up thousands of marriages just from walking every day in the busy streets of the city.

Avi Alalo I am a man I've been in the same relationship since we were 14, i am now 22, I understand your view, I think all men have that animal instinct in them but it's about being able to have control and restrain, some men have urges to do harm to others and also spend their whole life not harming a fly, self control my friend, that's what we should be teaching and harnessing, If the immodesty is taken off the streets, that doesn't solve a thing as we live in an age where virtually everything is available online. Also modesty to one person is immodesty to another, it's a subjective thing it's down to opinion, I will ask you to answer one question, if we are to illegalise immodesty for women, are we to also as men be bound by these same laws? and if not why is this?

Yes. Men also should be modest, absolutely. Secondly, Yes self-control IS the whole issue in regards to modesty in every aspect.
