Yes, you're correct. From what I understood watching let's plays that's what I got but I misunderstood. So far it's an unknown company that made her, but there was controversy over her creation as she made other B.O.W.s obsolete, thus, making her a target so that other companies obviously won't lose business. Of course, whoever created E-001 wouldn't let that happen so Alan and Mia were assigned to guard her on her way to a secret lab in Central America, but of course, from the events in the tape in the ship, it was attacked and then of course the Bakers ran into Evie.

COD squad She has no empathy though since she was living in complete isolation since the beginning of her life. All what she understands of family comes down to basic genetics at best. So I'd say she would've used her powers anyways. Eveline couldn't have been a functioning human anymore I think. Not to forget that her fungus infects on skin contact and turns a human being into a mutated monster at some point even without Evie being alive. And after the infection has taken over 50% of your bodies cells the serum would logically just kill you. Jack survived it though, but I guess that's just for DLC reasons.

But unfortunately Jack and Marguerite were killed by ethan,if they don't get killed and ethan tried to escape they had then a normally happily life, without that stupid bitch Eveline, but if Ethan don't kill Jack and Marguerite he dies, and Marguerite was the First that was infected with her gift then Jack and then Lucas, Zoe was not infected. The DLC daughters was before the original game😄
