Team Fortress 2 Sniper Gameplay

Just gonna say this to any new player who wants to play Sniper. Avoid the razorback, unless you just can't pay attention to your surroundings, which is something you should learn as Sniper to begin with, it's an unhealthy unlock that deceives you into thinking you're immune from spies, when in reality, you're leaving yourself completely vulnerable against the 4 other classes that can flank you, even then, there's nothing stopping a Spy from just shooting you, you die in 3 revolver shots(2 with the amby and enforcer), people(non Sniper mains especially) assume that Spy would be stupid to shoot you if you're surrounded by your team, but you realize, Sniper is the second most valuable kill, only below Medic, so a Spy-Sniper trade is always valuable, regardless of the Sniper's skill. And that overheal penalty leaves you more susceptible to fully charged bodyshots and quickscopes. Jarate does the razorback's job way better, pprovided that you're aware of your surroundings.

@@toastyboi8737 ngl i feel like using the smg is better because if new players still didn’t learn how to shoot real good without the scope then just use a smg but jarate is really good also thats what I think cause I used razorback and jarate for crafting and I regret it

@ApleAndStuf the smg is great for self defence, especially with god aim, and I will forever praise no scope+smg spray as a good combo. People don't realize the busted potential of jarate because most snipers just use it as a bushwhacka combo or extinguisher, that's why I prefer using it, it's an aoe fan o war basically.
