That transfer window look like ineos way then go back to glazers way. Quite confusing.if we give a big contract to rabiot and signing him, old players then it seems hypocrisy of letting Varane go as he wanted to take a big pay cut but never receive a contract, he show it when he sign for como on cheap wages instead going Saudi or waiting for other club to come sign him and get better deal. What don’t people understand about player value v remaining contract length? McTominey has 11 months left and goes for free next summer. NO club pays more than £20m, especially as they know Utd want shot of him. People saying he’s worth £40m, but lambast Everton for wanting £70m for a player who’s 6 years younger and has 4 years left on his contract. Brighton just sold Gross to Dortmund for £8m; the reason being it is so low is that he has 1 year left on his contract and is 33. It’s all relative to what a player is worth…

I think it’s a great free signing. He’s an 8 or defensive mid. He’ll know he’s not a starter if United get Ugarte but if not… I’ll take him over last years Casemiro. Kobbie and Rabiot is better than Kobbie and last years Casemiro. Or him being the first mid of the bench. And I’m sorry, but Collyer likely won’t get anywhere near Rabiots career.
