If only I am cute, that's fine. -Kanata: Regarding you, it seems that she simply wanted to let out her anger. -Rina: But still, not entering the exact same position might actually be worthwhile to be careful about. It's not just about "cute", it might not be good if we get too alike to each other during ur performances. -Emma: That's just something we can point out once we notice. -Kanata: With this, all problems are solved. -Emma: For some reason, Kasumi-chan's secret memo pad includes various hints for our 4-cell-unit. It's all things we need to be more careful about from now on. -Rina: You are right. That's quite some observation skills! I am impressed! Rina-chan board: "impressed" -Kanata: The secrets weren't even close to embarassing, so instead of calling it a secret memo pad, it's rather a "Be careful about this" memo pad? -Kasumi: Wait, did I end up giving them some kind of advice? Ugh, I didn't had any intentions of doing this, though. Well, whatever. So, since I am able to give everyone some advice, this means that I am the leader, right? And being the leader means, I am the main vocal! So I got to be in the center position! You all agree with me, right? -Emma: Our performances as individuals might be completely different, but if we support those points each of us can't notice by ourselves, things might still turn out well. Enhancing each others strong points, we might just be able to find new traits of ourselves. -Kanata: You are right. Just like we got to know some unknown traits of us thanks to Kasumi-chan's memo pad. Oh, it got interesting now! -Rina; We might be able to do things we couldn't do when performing solo, that's something to look forward to! -Kasumi: Hey, did you listen to your leader Kasumi? Geez, to keep you all together, I need to stay firm, huh? As not to fall behind the other units, let's give our best to become the group that is the cutest. You ready? -Everyone else: Yeah!

Thats what I was thinking too. So I was reading the wiki, and this is some of what it says: "As Kasumi loves all things cute, her unrivaled love for idols is strong and inspired. With the goal to dominate and become number one, she's a pretty sore loser when she comes anything other than first place, even to the point of sabotage or cheating.'' It would seem like she does have some Nico in her.

That's right. I still don't quite know what's the evil meaning behind this (other than having stuffed something somewhere it shouldn't be), but yeah, that's one of Kasumi's trademark moves. But I myself don't like comparing people/things too much, so I see them as two completely different characters.
