This was most welcome today, Marion and you did all the walking for us. The yew hedges are unbelievable, almost other-worldly. Just imagine, the castle is 800 years old. I must google some info in it. I've never been to Europe so especially thankful for your great camera work. Apparently when my parents were in France, my father, when viewing yet another castle, said 'I wonder how many poor ........ had to die, building that'. Funny how each of us make our own connections. It's a gift to see only the beauty, as through your eyes. Thank you.

Raby is only about 20 minutes drive from where I live..😊 I visited there a couple of weeks ago. I'm in Paris now and the temperature here has been 1° today...
