Love the solo cup trick here in the northeast it could rain one day and freeze the next and it keeps the bait from freezing inside the trap

100% agree that removing predators as close to fawning or nesting season is the most effective. Unfortunately here in Illinois, trapping season ends February 15th unless you get a nuisance permit.
