There are some changes to the track for Saturday I believe. Not major, but at one point it diverges and a decent section is totally new

@8:38 you can see Daprela hit a rock square on. It popped the tire bead off the rim and he went down. Crazy impact. Not surprised that rim folded like it did at the speed he was going.

Yep! Play it back at .25 speed. His bars are turned to the side when the front tire hits the ground. I know DH stuff is strong but not surprised it ripped the tire off and taco'd/broke the rim.

Everybody dodging the reality of what happened to Thibaut like they're all in the Matrix. Real unlucky if it was a sudden flat that allowed it to happen, but regardless shouldn't be having the wheel explode like that. DH casing, cushcore, plenty of people got caught up in holes and made it to the bottom. Time to give that wheel endorsement a bit of a look over...
