Join me on an adrenaline-fueled race as I attempt to beat the rain and conquer three more passes on the motorcycle adventure back to Cape Town. This week’s episode of Over the Pass is a race against time as I battle the elements and unexpected challenges. Our adventure starts off strong, but Mother Nature has other plans. As I navigate towards Heidelberg, the rain begins to gently fall, diminishing our hopes of reaching Cape Town dry. Despite the setbacks and road closures, we push on and make every moment count. I am planning my next long-distance ride for October, heading through the Lower Northen Cape in to the Freestate, and have a very interesting destination with lots of Anglo Boer war history. I'm to be changing the pace of the videos as I feel that they are too rushed, more riding than life... but what are your suggested destinations?

Yes, that camera is still there, I suspect it's the municipality cash cow. It's possible that it doesn't work, but it does slow the irresponsible drivers... As for this video, I am still debating with myself if it is meaningful... but that said, since this ride, the weather has been wet, and more damage has been done to all these roads... Sadly 😥
