A story that truly pulls on one's heart. I was elated that Bohdi responded to the treatment. Then when Lisa said that Bodie had relapsed my heart dropped. I'm glad Bohdi's family had 3 weeks with him. RIP dear Bohdi, run free over the Rainbow Bridge with all our fur babies that have gone before.

No Matter how old or young your pet (furbaby) is, no matter how how long they've been with you, you cannot be prepared for their passing away. You just love them and are hungry for more time with them. The only answer I know is to make the best of each day with them, love them deeply, ❤ and be grateful for not only every moment you have with them but also that you were gifted with them, that they came into your life to begin with. ❤ I feel sorry for those people who cannot open up their hearts to receive the unconditional love ❤ and blessings that cats, dogs, or whatever kind of pet companion ❤💙 they have...their love ❤ is miraculous. To Lisa and all the Bondi team: Thank you and God bless you. Your work is hard, sometimes heartbreaking, especially when your patients pass away, but believe me, most pet Guardians are deeply blessed by what you do, even when their beloved ones don't make it. My beloved companion passed away just one year ago now, but I can still feel and will never forget the kindness & love of his Vet & the care team.

Such a terribly sad story. The gift that comes from this is it's a reminder to love and value our fur babies every minute that they're with us and never take them for granted. We can have a beautiful Healthy dog and the next day they're gone. I'm so glad that Bodie got to go home and spend some last loving days with his family.

I agree totally, I still miss my dogs that have crossed. My rescue, Matilda is beside me. When I watch these videos I always hug her and tell her I love her. Looking into their eyes and see the love she has for me is humbling.

This is great news. I'm so happy his white blood cell count improved so well. People who love their dogs would do anything to save their life. My daughters spent over 15,000.00 but there is no cure for cancer. Bodie rest in peace I know yours in doggie heaven. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 love you so much it hurts and I'm crying.

First, I absolutely love Bondi Vet & Vet on the Hill & Tim & his reptile park. You all are so very dedicated in what you do & you do it very well. Secondly, though, I would appreciate it if you could put a disclaimer in the episodes that deal with the passing of an animal. You already block out your surgeries, which I, personally, wish you wouldn’t…but when you lose an animal, it just pierces my heart with sadness. I know death is part of life & our precious furry companions aren’t around that long anyway, even if they live out their normal life expectancy. I get that & I’m not saying don’t present those stories of loss. It just would be nice if you could give us a heads up as to what is coming? Then we can make our own decisions about whether or not to watch that particular story. Keep up the wonderful work you do & sharing your stories.

Poor boy was only four years of age... My sweet girl (also a German Shepherd) was only TWO when we had to let her go. 💔💔 No matter the age, of course it hurts terribly.. but I think when it's a younger dog (or cat) the pain/heartache is a bit different because you really didn't see it coming.. As with an older animal, you're a little bit more prepared..

My dog died when he was 11. With an older animal, maybe you *should be* a little more prepared, but you've had all that much longer to get attached, so you're *not*. He died in 1990, and I still mourn him.

This happened to my daughters dog About 6 months ago, again they don’t know why but our Aspen is still alive although it looks like she will be on medication for the rest of her life. We thank the wonderful vets and staff at Moorabbin vet hospital Melbourne for saving her life. RIP Bohdi, 🐾🐾💕

Just lost my eight year old cat so this one hurt…our usual vet just refused to consider anything was wrong with her…the same thing happened last year when our dog died of cancer but we thought it was just a one off thing…turns out that vet is really good at giving big smiles and bullshìtting their way through a consult…wish we had found a different vet sooner…
