Glad to watch on KZbin. I watched Salem and it has been interesting to hear the familiar names.

So, I am ashamed to say, that I never read up on The Salem Witch Trials. I am not sure as to why that is, but it’s the truth. I am very grateful that I played this video and learned a very unbiased and truthful look at the History that wasn’t well recorded for this amazing woman. I appreciate you both and the Museum! I look forward to learning so much more!!!

This is the first time I have heard of a black man” appearing. The accounts I’ve read, the girls saw specters of the people they were accusing. Tituba was Jamaican and did involve the young girls in fortune telling and other acts of sorcery. There is a historical fiction book called Tituba that gives some insight.

The Devil in Massachusetts by Marion Starkey is a great book about the trials.
