I get a lot further on the Ski Daddler this time! Be sure to check out how that odd ball drive system works!

I hate you, every time I watch your videos, I get the idea that I should purchase a vintage sled. I do enjoy your videos takes me back to my miss guided youth. The guy from Back to the 50's.

Also the trick with the shoe goo on the kill switch is good thinking. I now do something similar for the wires on the stator, after a heartbreaking "probably would have won" situation where the wire on my condenser vibrated and broke off at just the right time I use silicon to keep all of the wires on the stator from vibrating. Brenden told me about doing that and I felt dumb that I hadn't thought of it.

It's a good idea. One lungers vibrate a lot!

Nice upgrades to a neat old sled... somewhere I'd like to think there's an old AMF engineer shaking his Cane at the screen saying : " I told you! I told you it wasn't that bad"

In some ways it's better than a normal cantilevered chain case, but it sure is a pain to change the belt.

I never had a ski dadler but I did have an old sno prince! I believe it had the same engine you are running and set up very similar. For a one lunger it would go. I really enjoy the content. I ride a19 indy xc 800 now. Love the old sleds though!

Love the one lunger content, but needs more Labrador, just sayin. I think you're probably well aware of it but even the "non-tuned" donaldson exhaust on the old one lungers makes a big difference. I've spent some time with my Sachs on my crude dyno setup and head pipe length/diameter/configuration of muffler make a big difference so those hp numbers are pretty meaningless for people to argue about.

My first sled was a 1969 Motoski cadet. Rockwell JLO. I thought it was a 14 hp. spark plug straight up.

I don't recall the early silver coffin hooded Ski Daddlers having that secondary setup, and what is the difference between a comet duster and a comet power block? I have a powerblock on one of my Ski Doors, it is far smoother and quieter than that crude finger weight clutch they came with. How come your helpers scatter like rats when you're working on something that isn't Polaris? And are we going to see the wide track that you started swapping the 488 Fuji in to?

I never worked on any of those old silver Daddlers. Had one once and traded it off to the Blegins. Powerblock is not made by comet. It's a different design altogether. The helpers have all been traveling. They will be back eventually.
