The fact they are still making this old school racing flat is awesome! As I don’t think many brands carry anything like these OG style racing shoes. Have a few as it keeps me from depending on all my other plated shoes Lol. Great review!

They are in the middle. They are firm enough to have nice response, but as a budget shoe they are not super springy like some of Asics higher end shoes with more expensive foams in their midsoles.
