I love how something that was originally a 10 second voice clip in shadow of israphel got a dance remix, that was so good it convinced the Yogscast to get together and record it as a full song, that was so good a dwarvern metal band wind rose picked it up and did a cover of it, that made them famous enough that they felt they had to do a dance version of it.

@@fishiersticks Thats no protection. The throneroom scene from Star Wars got copyright struck for music, even though they specifically removed the music, that was the whole point. IIRC, it was the guitarist of Dragonforce who got copyright struck for playing his own song on stream. Copyright laws are a plague upon the modern world.

Imagine if the Pumps sent Creeper to different platforms, but not in order like you see here. So the Creep might start in the top corner, then it goes to a middle location, then to a far corner, etc. Bonus if the creator can script it so the connections are changed each time you play the map

this reminds me of several Cw3 maps with Pumps. one of my favorites is "around goes the pump", with a moving pump "intake" and a bunch of "flip" emitters, that switch to making anticreep IF hit with enough anticreep. it's possible to win that one without using a single Neutralizer!

Played a similar one recently. Same premise with the race but gave you rockets instead of the bombs and the pump setup was a little different but yeah, early intervention was still key. It quickly gets out of hand

I noticed that it is not really worth it to produce anti creep on all these tiles. You can turn them off if you don't want to waste AC on them. As you can not produce enough even with all the miners. Also it is slightly more efficent to wait with the building of collectors till your first one is finished, so you do not try to build 8 of them with just the basic energy gain. Accumulative it is much faster to build a single one, then another, then 2 at the same time, then two more then more and so on, till you can not build them all at nearly the same time.

Dude pylons only make energy on blank tiles so putting them in the center makes literally 0 power the over head number is the power my dude

You cut in to the stream at practically the last possible moment. If you had made the more conservative play and attempted to blockade just a couple squares later, you'll find that a square completely full of mortars and cannons can't keep up, and you enter a cycle where your AC is taking squares as the creep is taking squares, in a loop. Recovering from that point is significantly trickier- and probably more fun, as I feel like you short-circuited the map!

I actually played that one a few weeks ago and it did not go well for me at all. if you leave it too long before cutting off the creep its just way too difficult. I had the last 3 sections completely filled with cannons and mortars and it just plowed through it all, and once its made a full loop there is no recovering from it because you will never gain a foothold again.

I think mechanics wise, it's not shooting upwards. It's shooting the creeper the instant it falls into range, so it looks like it's shooting upwards.

Just to let people know this map is actually Quite Hard, It is a race, but you cant enter into the race to early or too late, (too early and you waste resources trying to fight the wave, too late and it is unstoppable) Tom just got insanely Lucky and got the point in the middle where the map turns into an easy map.

I kind of wish there was a difficulty setting, but there is not one in the game. You can pause time and order units to move while paused, and as a challenge you could do a “no pausing” run.

Really wish it was closer of a game to CW3 rather than this whole new… _thing_ and I suppose it’s cool to people who haven’t played another game in the series but it’s kinda lacking to classic fans. The utter lack of story is rather off-putting, too. It’s almost like the Fallout 76 of the Creeper World franchise.
