There are genuinely a few good 'races' you could do in Birmingham though; Solihull to Birmingham airport train vs bus, perhaps the metro from The Hawthorns to Wolverhampton vs the train etc etc. Would love to see you come do something in Brum like this one day though!

race idea for the future oxford circus to west Ruislip Chiltern railway and Bakerloo line vs central line where the idea is is that Chiltern trains to west Ruislip are infrequent but once you are on a Chiltern service it is a very quick journey

Good shout. I travel a fair bit on the Chiltern Line, and they're always busy from Marylebone, but quite a few passengers use them and get off at places like West Ruislip and Amersham, simply because they're faster than the Tube

Never been to Liverpool South Parkway station. Always wanted to go there. My mum has been to Liverpool and she said that it’s an amazing city to visit.

Excellent video. I was wondering what is your opinion of the Merseyrail 777s? Since Southeastern has announced that they are looking at train manufacturers to submit ideas and tenders for replacing your 'all-time favourite Networkers', do you think the 777s are a good replacement for Southeastern's oldest Metro Fleet?

I probably would say Mainline but Merseyrail seems descent enough as they now introduced the new Class 777s in service that are replacing the Class 507 and Class 508.
