@@ElementsMMAThat’s not how rules work. Zhou is side by side when entering the turn, Yuki must leave at least half a car width (more if there is obstacles beyond white edge line). You can see Yuki didn’t leave any room forcing Zhou must take the long way around escape route. The correct execution would be Max’s defense at turn 1 of lap 1, which he entered the turn with Sainz, and left him a full car width throughout the turn.

The highlights were literally 8 minutes of DRS overtakes on the start/finish straight. How anyone thinks that is racing I’ll never understand. F1 is embarrassingly dull these days, between one driver/team dominating race after race to the lack of actual racing I think it’s time is coming to an end. There can be no penalty for Tunoda. Tunoda had space on the bottom side; Zhou Guan Yew simply could not keep up with the competition and went off course. The cars did not even hit each other. Why does the FIA make unfair rulings as if they were pressured from the outside? If this was a penalty, Verstappen, Hamilton, Leclerc, Russell, and Alonso would have been penalized many times this year alone. If this were a penalty, the only way they would be able to swap places would be for refueling or car trouble. There are not many rulings that are this ridiculous.

The framing really was incredible. The likelihood of keeping everyone in frame there is almost zero but that's not all. Panning causes jittering but straight on shots are bad for perspective, so to be able to yaw right to left, keep everyone in frame and give multiple perspectives without jitter is a testament to the planning and execution of these top of the food chain photographers.

Though I thought 5s is a acceptable penalty because if Zhou didn't jump off it may cause a red flag. It may be too strict to Yuki,but the biggest problem is that Fia stopped team talk straight to race officers after the last race in2021,it means in nowadays,when a drive finish a move that may cause a punish,the race officer won't told them to return the position to his rival or what .It's decided by the team and the drivers.But if officers is not happy with the decide that team makes,it cause a 5s penalty.

@@Alex-uv6eo The problem isn’t so much that Yuki got a penalty, it’s that there were significantly worse incidents during this race (like Ocon very intentionally almost making Alonso hit the wall/the car coming out of the pit lane) that didn’t result in any penalty at all. You either give everyone penalties for this stuff or no one, you can’t only give them to some people and not others, especially when it drops someone out of the points which has season long ramifications. If they aren’t going to give penalties to everyone else, then Yuki’s penalty needs to be walked back, otherwise it’s blatantly unfair to only call him on it when other people did such blatantly worse stuff.

Alonso literally said there was nothing wrong in Ocon's move, it wasl all because Alonso chose to still go to the inside even though Ocon had covered it. Russell didn't gain a single position, he also had no room to stay on track and he took the correct way around the bollard. Zhou was ahead on the apex and had no room to stay on track. He went off to avoid contact.

I think has been enough to say that the circuit changes have been a positive change, a mixture of tyre strategies that does bring the race alive at different stages in the circuit.
