Zwift has many maps, consisting of mythological worlds and real-life cities. Each rider can decide to ride around solo, with friends, or even join a race against similar-level cyclists from around the world. On this channel, my goal is to share the world of Zwift! That incline at 12k is brutal. Short but sharp and twice😝😝

I have been Zwift racing every day for a while and I have noticed when I push too hard I can get good immediate results. However, it negatively affects my future performance slowing down my fitness improvement or even bonking until I get enough rest. I like to race frequently so rather keep the intensity well-managed.

Wow, that’s awesome! I’m trying to find a good mix of Zone 2 and racing. I just haven’t been able to make it consistent yet to see major improvement

You hung on further then before. That corkscrew climb is 30 seconds of effort. I used to get dropped on it almost every time. As the incline ramps up, I count to 30 and that takes me to the flat spot on top. Once I started doing that, I found I could pace my effort and stay with the front.

Hey, that’s a good tactic! I’ll use that next time. It’s always helpful to know how long an effort will last to monitor the energy

I’m sorry about that attack. I like to try to draft the group down the hill and accelerate through the group up the hill to help me stay near the front. It wasn’t my intention to put you into difficulty. It’s always good to race with you.

I crashed my bike on oil a few weeks back and badly sprained my wrist...it's taking ages to heal. Not so bad for Zwift though! Good ride. Have you seen that if you use your Zwift Plays, your Kickr Core will have in-game gear change now. I've just tried it and it's great!

That was a fast and amazing course. You are young and ankle will recover. Don't push it to hard though. Got 31.06 yesterday in B cat. We had over 100 riders. 👊😎

You will. Make sure your ankle is 100%. Had ankle surgery last year so i kinda know. Keep pushing and do race simulations with the faster pacer bots. That will help 👊

I didn’t have anything left after getting dropped, it was a slow ride to the finish. There’s going to be a lot more climbing in this Feb series, so unfortunately it’s only going to get harder from here

New to Zwith and did this race today in the D category avg watt 148. My set up is a newer iPad pro and screen mirror to 49 inch TV in the garage. (55 F today).🥶 My Problem: HR chest strap monitor is displayed as connected, just like the power source, resistance and cadence. But once in the ride i am not getting HR feed. New battery so I am left with the thought the my Garmin Fenix 6 may be interfering, but I don't think so. Any ideas out there?

Hey, welcome to Zwift and good luck with your racing! I don’t have experience with the Garmin. I use the Wahoo Tickr chest strap. The only issue I’ve had is a low battery that was fixed with a quick replacement.
