You know, I've liked and commented on so many of your vids, you have to wonder whether I'm a great guy who loves skiing, or if I'm a wacko stalker! If you can trust that it's the first thing, I'd love to come to Steamboat and ski with you. So would my instructor Cathy who is very much like you. Some day maybe - a dream come true.

Debbie, do you have a video that addresses mid season fatigue and active rest days. Love the two segments including the race start activities especially the warm up approaches of different countries.

Wow! This is so fascinating to watch, so much to learn from! When they visualise, do they know the course already from previous practice or are they going on what they see in front of them?

Each training session is a new set. Sometimes multiple sets. Before running the course athletes inspect the course

Hi Deb, I’m a little confused about when the first skate begins coming out of the start gate. Is it a kick and push off to get past the poles and THEN a push into the first gate, or should it all be one motion? It appears in the video that there’s one big push off to get as much of one’s body into the course before booting the timing mechanism, then pushing the leg out into the first skate as/once the tails land. But not sure
