I am a 52 year old grandpa and me my son and his wife take their daughter to the local park to play this was when my granddaughter was maybe 6 or 7. Well this was during the Hite of this racial turmoil we went to the park and there was a family there and let's just say that their 2 girls were playing by themselves and yes I noticed that the other parents were gathering their children and leaving but then I saw my granddaughter go over and ask the 2 girls if they wanted to play with her and they said yes . SO I saw their parents sitting at a picnic table by themselves and I told my son and his wife let's go introduce ourselves and sit and talk. We walked and struck up a conversation then my granddaughter came over and introduced us to her new friends and I won't lie I was and still am soooo proud of my granddaughter because she didn't see anything but new friends why can't we all see each other through a child's eyes if we did that we would never see color we would see what CHRIST wants us to see brothers and sisters!

I’m in my early 40s and sometimes glow in the dark because I’m so light skinned… my wife is Hispanic…and our daughters best friend when she was very young (infant/toddler) was a beautiful little girl of a much darker complexion… they haven’t been in daycare/school together for several years(they are now 10 almost 11) next year they are scheduled to be going to the same school again. She is so excited to hang out with one of the first friends she ever made more often. Growing up I was always hanging around anyone and everyone that I got along with… skin tone never made a difference… I’ve stayed that way all my life.

I’m only six minutes into the video But I will say this, that is the same song that we were taught in Sunday school, I went to a beautiful little small church in Clinton Maryland. It was called Calvary Baptist and brother Dave and brother. Brent were the most awesome amazing down to earth brothers that we had running in and teaching us all they did, and they kept it so real and at a level where it even at that age like you wanna learn more like they ate. I’ll never forget it. It was so awesome amazing. Incredible I’ll never forget it, not ever, and I am now 42 years old

i get where you're coming from with that first line, but i think you're missing the entire reason that line exists. the music at that point is subdued and clearly in the background and he just straight out says it, possibly the single most provocative statement he could have. the kind of thing that turns head and makes ppl question what they just heard, especially if they wern't paying attention. it's there as a way to make ppl listen to what he's saying and not just tune the song out and let it sit in the background. and then with that focus that he orchestrated he starts dropping truths ppl dont want to accept or have been just blind to. all to get the message of the song out there all the more reliably.

I'm so glad I happened upon your channel because you did a reaction to "Race War." The both of you remind me of how I grew up as well. I just turned 50 y/o and graduated in 1992. I was in a suburb of Sacramento, CA, where I went to high school. We had a very mixed-race high school. I'd say it was about 30% white, 30% black, 30% Hispanic, and the other 10% had Asian, Indian (India), and other ethnic backgrounds. A very diverse student population. Race was never an issue there. I never heard any racist comments toward others or toward me. Everyone was a bunch of hormonal teenagers. What I don't get is going back to when Obama became president, how race became such a big issue. Then grew even worse when Trump was elected. And now it's at such a precipice it's like it's a matter of time before civil war breaks out across the country. Over 30 years ago, when I graduated from high school, while Democrats and Republicans didn't always agree on the same issues, at least there was compromise. Don't get me wrong, there were things done in the past that could have or should have been done differently, but at least each side genuinely tried to come together for compromise. It's like when Obama came in office, after that first year, each side dug their heels, and compromise became a thing of the past. Right away, each side will blame the other, but at the end of the day, both sides are at fault. When Trump got elected, all hell broke loose because the left didn't understand why he was elected, and the right dug their heels in even more. It's been sad to see where our country is today. What's even worse is how, for the first time in my life, I now know what it's like to be judged solely on the color of my skin just because I was born white. My mom, as a single parent, raised me to look at what the person is on the inside and not the color of someone's skin. I should never have had to learn what it is like to have racism against me. It should be completely ostracized for anyone who judges another solely based on a person's skin color. My hope is that more and more people will wake up and realize that to be racist against anyone, which includes those with white skin, that it's never okay to judge someone solely on their skin color. Thank you for putting out the video content that you do. I just subscribed and look forward to watching more of your content.

Love how you 2 just throw it in the face. I was also raised in the 70s and 80s with the same song in Sunday School where we were taught maybe not to not see color but absolutely don't judge on that. I grew up in an almost all white small town. We had 1 neighborhood family that was black. All of us kids played together as kids. Now when I went in the Navy, talk about major culture shock but the Navy taught me in no uncertain terms that race meant absolutely nothing.
