what mount would you recommend for a motorcycle?

We made a lot of tests with Quad Lock and we recommend it.

@@raceboxpro i use quad lock for my phone and they are great, but the mount is almost as expensive as the early bird race box lol. i meant with the mounts that come with the box, like would the sticky mount be effective enough for a bike or should i stick to the velcro? thank you for the quick response.

@@NoHope_ with RACEBOX MINI users will receive velcro mount and silicon pad. We test these two mounts in motorcycle and they work really great.

@@raceboxpro What Quad Lock option did you test and how did you connect it to the mount? I'm curious if there is a way to use the thread insert on the new Race Box miniS with Quad Lock but dont know how this would work in practice? I already have a Quad Lock fork stem mount for reference. Thank you! and thanks heaps for finally providing a more appropriate solution for motorcycles with the new MiniS as its sketchy having an expensive phone (worried about lens damage) attached to your bike plus difficult finding a place to mount everything...

hello can this item be used for tractor manual steering? How accurate is it? Can we use it in google maps also? In short, can it be use for simple positioning?

The RaceBox Mini and Mini S are fully compatible with applications such as Field Navigator and GPS Connector, making them suitable for agricultural use. Those devices achieve positional accuracy of as low as 15cm.

Will the RB Mini magnets negatively affect the dashboard electronics / display? Even if mounted to dash with Velcro?

In our testing, we have not detected any negative effects of the RB Mini magnets on dashboard electronics or displays.

Yes, the sticky pad can be reused and put on almost any surface. Just make sure to clean it after changing its position.

Yes, the velcro tape is strong enough to be used with speeds exceeding 300kph.

The included silicone pad does not leave any residue whatsoever. We have tested it with temperatures exceeding 100ºC.

Keen to mount on the roof with the magnets. What speed is the integrated magnet rated up to?

If you are exceeding speeds of 200 kph we would recommend mounting the device on the inside of the car.

@@raceboxpro Mine just fell of at around 130km/h in a merely hyundai i30N. I;ve put it on the flat roof surface. Its a little bit scratched but seems to be ok and working

@@pazera66 We are sorry to hear about your accident. We recomend not solely relying on the built-in magnets when mounting the device on the exterior of your vehicle.

@@raceboxpro On the other hand, moments before I was testing my friends m340i. We’ve done 6 pulls 0-200 and nothing happened. I guess my warranty is voided now :/ Btw is the high grip pad grippy because of adhesion properties or glue?

@@pazera66 When mounted on the inside of a car with the grip pad, we have not had any sort of issues, even in racecars.
