You can tell that everyone including Dungey arent happy but they all know it is the right decision. Dungey is retireing like a boss.

The secret to winning championships is always showing up and finishing and getting on the podium. Ryan Dungey was the best at it. I'm very happy for his decision. I recorded the video on the web when he crashed at Thunder Valley in Colorado and rode with a broken neck. A true champion of doing what is necessary for the success of your team. God bless you Ryan. Make lots of kids now!

It was great to see Roger talk about Ryan Dungey. Ive been a big fan of Rogers carrier for years when i was a kid. Now having a kid. I would have told my Son the same thing Ryans Dad told him to say to Roger. I don't have the money to push forward for my Sons carrier on Dirt bikes, But we will never stop loving the sport. When Ryan said on and off the track it is so important to be your best, Family, Team is so important. Thats so true about him. a couple years ago at St. Luis, he Signed my Sons number plate. Nate was to scared to say anything to Ryan, nate just walked away. I asked him why. lol as we were walking away and about 20 feet away, my Son yelled out THANK YOU RYAN YOU. Ryan Turned and said your welcome and thank you. Smiled our way then kept on signing for everyone that wanted it and pics. Nate couldn't stop talking about how nice Ryan is. he said Ryan is as nice to people as he is fast on a bike. Than Nate asked me, Is that because he has family Values and believes in God? That could be the Biggest part of who Ryan is, I said. Sad to not see the Dungey name one the Board this next year, but like Roger said, Ryan can go make some babies and Some day, the Dungey name may be back. Till then, Enjoy it all KTM family and Ryans family as well. Yes Ryan, you are the reason I stay late at my bicycle shop two or three days more a week, My Son had to have a KTM well 65cc now 105cc God Bless to you and your Family.

You became the reference point of the sport. Even when you are strugeling and working hard behind the scenes you make it look so easy on the track. for that, people want to see you beaten. I my self aswel. That is just how it is to be the reference point. In F1 the same thing happend to Michael Schumacher. Comparing you to one of the greatest F1 drivers in history tells you how much respect I have for you. I wish you the best, i will remember your name, and so will my children.

Me to i like The idea of Kids working towards Goals and doing something that can set them up for life at a young age , when they are young energetic. Of course your parents have to be involved and the ones to make the decision and to stay involved, my parents weren't , yours ? Clearly Ryans where. They did their part and he did his. I have Kids and i would also like to do something like that for them not necessarily just moto but something. For my Boy its already to late. He is 11 And never ridden a dirt bike , just because we haven't been able to afford it.

Nah, that stuff is forgotten in a weeks time. Just like Reed keeping Dungey from passing for 2 laps. If people remembered that stuff forever Reed wouldn't have any fans with the long list of stuff he's done in his career. Just like Ryan whining about "cheap shots" after the race and getting booed off the stadium floor. It's soon forgotten.

What part of 2016 SX was easy? Roczen gave him a run for his money but Dungey was the best rider out there. As for 2017, Tomac made this Championship about as far from easy as you could get. Obviously Dungey was no where near Tomacs pace this year but you've gotta keep it together for the whole season to win it ;)

I'm glad he's gone he not a real champ anyway all his c-ship have a * in front of him eli beat him 10 times straight. If the point system was really like racing who wins the most races win. He won 2 ducking races and waited for everyone to get hurt. If roczen was in it dungey Would of got 3rd or 4th. That's why he really retiring he can't keep up with them. And if js had a ride then dungey definitely would of been 4th. I'm not a Tomac or roczen fan but they have heart to hang it all out. Dungey knew outdoors he would get hurt trying to keep up. Good ridence fake champ.
