Exactly, the first few PG solo albums were amazing, a nice beatles-esque sound but played with heavy guitars, an interesting combination... Wish he would record another album with Jimi Kidd (instead of the "fusion" crap he insists on playing nowadays, his uncle can sing good too! )

Yes...you can blame the sound guy. Paul was pretty upset that he added delay to the guitar. Not only did he do that....but the show was being recorded for a video...and he goofed up recording a part of the show.
