Hi all in this video i am on a friends E-Firestorm and showing you guys how to change a spur gear as well as show you how i set my gear mesh and hope this video will help some of you guys out anyway hope you enjoy :)

Great vid, thanks. Lad stripped the spur on his Jumpshot MT. Exploded view in the manual makes it look over-complicated but this took the worry out of changing it.

+jae jordan Hi bud thanks for commenting i no longer have this car so i cant do a video but for the pinion gear you can take it off by un-tightening the grub screw that holds it to the motor :)

Hi bud to set the clutch is easy you just have to back off the slipper clutch nut slightly and it will be set but you can always adjust, I do not have this car as it was a car I was fixing so I am unable to make a video on this topic :)

Ok thanks, do you know why my spur gear is stripping all the time? I set the mesh using the paper method, could it be that my spur gear isn't centered? Also my firestorm doesn't seem as fast as others with with 3s lipo battery's, it doesn't even wheelie or anything? Could that be a clutch setting problem? It's a 11.1 5000mah battery, but my charger only charges at 3 amps. It takes a long time to charge. Thanks

Humm id say its because the clutch is set to tight meaning it has no give under hard acceleration which can lead to strip spur gears. And as for the power thing it could be due to a lack of traction, i take it you own a brushless version and if that isnt the case it maybe the settings in the speed control that need to be changed or as you say it could because the clutch isnt set tight enough. The battery charge time is dependent on our charger, the more amps the faster it will charge usually i do 1 amp to every 1000 mah so 6000 mah batteries = 6 amps

Ok thanks, yes it's the most recent version of the firestorm flux, brushless motor and everything. So I guess I should be charging my 5000mah battery at 5 amps instead of 3, it's taking 2 hrs to charge right now with this 3 amp charger, I will get a better charger in the upcoming days. It very well might be that my speed control isn't setup correctly, maybe it's not setup for 100% power. I will look into that, thanks.

Hey man how can I set my spur gear to the center? No matter what I do, it wobbles from side to side when I look at it from behind. It doesn't turn straight. Thanks
