If you look closely all they didn’t was rearrange the buttons and add a slightly bigger screen. Kind of looks exactly like the challenger interior which I don’t like.

Instant like. We have been waiting on this review for a LONG time. And we all know how it is when we anticipate something for a long time and have high expectations lol..you did not disappoint not even a little bit; We can even FEEL the enthusiasm during the entire video. Very great points were made regarding comparing other vehicles “in its class” with the perfect balance of power/performance and usability FOR the price and the sticker price is mid 60’s (before negotiation and or rebates) literally in its own class. There’s so many upsides to the Durango SRT that this could’ve easily been a 30+ min long video lol truly amazing content and was well worth the wait!

That is a Awesome SUV , I noticed it looked like it had good head room , like I could wear my Stetson cowboy hat while driving it , lol . It does have some very nice interior where it was lacking a bit in models before and we can tow the family boat as well , nice💯 . You said it also runs in the 13 second range at 5,500 pounds 😂🏁 , Sweet . Those are really awesome vehicles for the price. My parents have a Durango with the 3.6 in it and it’s really pleasant to drive. There was a SRT Durango at a dealership near me and it sat there for over 6 months. Now we can’t find anything in the area except AWD GT Chargers.

I had one of these (GT, though) as a rental and it was NICE. I think I was told it was based off a Mercedes platform, which is why it rides so great. I was impressed...and I don't like Dodges (LOL).

I picked up a 392 Durango at DFW airport last week and drove it to Amarillo and back. Very comfortable, great 0-60 because it just hooks and goes, and I got 17-18mpg in cruise control at 85mph👌🏻

Another truly great video RacerX. Time stamp 3:05 my jaw hit the floor with that absolutely gorgeous deep blue Challenger next to the green. That's the Indigo Blue isn't it ? Unfortunately around here, 99% of the Mopar here are White , Black, Gray or Silver, it's a true rarity to see one of any of the other colors here. ☹️

I don’t like to talk bad about dealerships but I went there to get my hellcat challenger and the wanted to change me for locking lug nuts and the car already had that as an option they ran my credit though 40 different banks finally had to go to my regular auto nation on 35 in Fort Worth to get the deal done with a 2% lower interest rate

You talked about a throttle body for your wife’s car. I thought about getting one from MMX for my 2020 Durango SRT. I see they are only ported. Would it be better for true bore from Fastman? Or is there not much difference?

I think the true bore is probably slightly better .. although I don't know how much from a HP perspective. I bought my buddies ported TB when he went to a true bore.. hard to say how much difference it really makes though

Curious as to why the Durango with the 6.4/392 engine is called an SRT by Dodge but the Challenger with same motor is an R/T?

They never went to the Scatpack name for other models .. just the charger and the challenger

The Durango is an outstanding vehicle. A way more versatile vehicle than the Challenger or Charger. With the AWD, any engine package will give outstanding performance. To tow the 8700#'s, the Tow-n-Go package is required. Otherwise the tow rating is 3500#'s.

I enjoy mine every day. Indeed, a Fun factor of 10+. For an affordable fun factor approved grocery getter, this has the perks. My actual record on 0 to 60 is 4.1 seconds per the performance page system. I have out launched a Mustang GT and Camaro SS. Maybe it was my quick reaction time, but I still did it. Nevertheless, they were still amazed at the performance of a 5500 pound SUV.

I had one for 5 years until it was totaled. Wife ran it over 100k. Never broke once. A/C compressor was dying at the end but that’s it. Loved that truck. I’ll probably buy another one for myself.
