I love my 1320 , I drive it 200 miles to race it . I get 26 mpg and run low 12s consistently . I just installed a trailer hitch on it so I can tow my motorcycle to the track too so I can race both .

I’m pretty sure the fuel mileage should be close to the same across all ScatPacks but damn 26 is good. My brother averages about 21mpg in his 1320

The 1320 is a perfect street and track beast! I own a regular Challenger Scat with the Dynamics package and TF 8 speed. It's smiles per 1/4 mile man..... Scavenger 1320 has proven what can be done with the Challenger 1320 with full race prep! Awesome that the dealership is not price gouging these models.

Love my Hellraisin 1320. Could've gone with a HC but this thing just hit the sweet spot for me. Performance aside, I've yet to run into a fellow 1320 owner while cruising or at car meets. Haven't seen the aggregate production numbers but it seems like a hidden gem.

If you get a dealership willing to work with you it can be done. When I ordered mine in 2019 I went to a friend who operates a dealership and we ordered the car then ordered the Mopar Shaker hood kit and got it all invoiced and under the loan for the car and when the car and the Shaker kit showed up he got the hoods swapped in the dealership's shop. I have a couple videos on my channel of my Shaker-equipped 1320. Also point of note, no you can't get the manual for 2023 1320s.

In my opinion the plus package is an absolute must have. It’s a relatively inexpensive package and adds tons of must haves. The seats alone are worth the overall price, the alcantara vs the checkerboard pattern hideouts cloth seats. The 20” alloy wheels, the 8.4” infotainment screen, heated seats and steering wheel, cooled seats, and sport suspension. Well worth every dollar.

If you want to remove the seats for some reason just selling the seats would pay for the entire package. The HK sounds far better than the beats, let alone the alpine.

Bought a 2015 scat shaker with the 8.4" info screen and Alcantara seats for $30k in 2021 when the prices were going insane, had 48k on the dial, but based on history the thing was absolutely babied. Services every 3500-4k miles, and every service interval was checked. 3 years later and I am currently sitting at 82k (I drive 70 hwy miles to and from work), and have had no problems outside of having to replace the Serpentine belt and a tensioner at 60k miles, but that's not too bad. Still have another 14 months or 17k miles left on bumper to bumper warranty, definitely a great first car with more than 250 hp. She gets a lottle loose if I really test her on the weekends, but nothing out of control. Would definitely buy another one if i needed to, but I'm definitely getting a corolla first so i can save some $$$ on gas. 😂😂😂

I recently purchased a 2023 (Last Call) Challenger GT in White with the Performance Handling Group added. This car is literally a Scat Pack without the 6.4. Wheels, tires, suspension, flat bottom steering wheel, performance pages, super track pack, even launch control! It’s all there….on a V-6? That’s crazy!!!! Crazy Fun to drive!!!!! I absolutely love it, and having owned RTs and Scat wide body in past years, this car FEELS just like the other ones…..remember folks, it’s all about old school vibe!!

Yeah they came out with it right after I ordered my 392Shaker in late 2017 and I was like damnnn kinda wish I had known it was coming, but I also love my shaker, awesome cars and we can probly put in softer springs in the rear and be pretty darn close to a 1320 tbh and if you have a earlier model without track mode and line lock you can just get a tazer plug it in and boom you have all that. but I don't do a whole lot of races from a dig so it's not a big priority. Probly would do noweeds cutouts before that

I have a 2021 scatpack and at the track with 245’s I hit 1270@114. One time on the street I pulled off a 1260. I plan on getting some Nitto 275/40/20’s and I think I can get into the 1190’s. Thank you for what you do!!

1320 is specifically for straight line racing but track modes are for handling curves. Suspension, shifting, maintaining torque, all tuned differently among other things

So does the 1320 not handle curves well? I live in very curvy mountainous area. And love carving curves. But jonesing for a 1320 if they are as awesome as RX says. Also I would love and appreciate a scat vs 1320 on same size rears at a track or at least on decent road. No phone app timer. Lined up beside one another and stock or exact as can get mods. Anyone know the difs on a vs like that in a quarter?

@@GunmanJS45357 You can get a scat pack pretty close to a 1320 in 1/4 mile times with good rear tires, and you can put softer springs in the rear but both the 1320 and scats are not great cornering cars, they aren't terrible the suspension is actually great in both, but they are heavy and long cars so compared to a mustang and a lot of other cars you are going to notice it's not as good at cornering. Wide body would help with that a bit but doesn't take away the weight and length. They are awesome cars tho I absolutely love my 2018 392 Shaker. But I wouldn't plan on being good at corners in one.

Had my 1320 for little over a year...LOVE it! Like you said, it's made for a purpose and thats why I got it. Drag strip or light to light fun. Nexens are great but they need to really heat up. Anything below 50°F and they feel like slippery rocks.

Try Nitto NT555RII's when you replace those Nexens, I run them in 305/35R20 on my rears at 22-24 psi on a good street surface they will dead hook without a burnout. Will still spin on slick street surfaces tho but any tire will. They wear pretty decently for the amount of grip they offer. I got 6-7k miles out of them and had done a few burnouts with them.

The base package was where they got the 11 sec time, one cloth seat. Backseats are worthless, nobody really sits back there, including kids. Driving with someone in the passenger seat ruins the experience. Most people I see with these sports cars or muscle cars, they are driving alone. I think ordering the very base package will be worth more in the long run, just like ordering a stripped out deleted packages back in 60's and early 70's are worth more than the add-ons.

You can’t get a manual transmission in a 1320! The order thing online is broken !! When you go to order and finalize from the dealer it will kick out the manual and make you change it! You cannot get a 1320 in manual! Would be too many blown rears and the torque reserve isn’t set up for manual transmission! Would be pointless!

Just fyi, because this causes a lot of confusion with the interior options, if you get the 1320 Plus group there is no seat delete option. You automatically get all the seats no matter what. The only way to get a single seater is to NOT order the plus, which means you get a base houndstooth cloth seat, and the $1 seats only gets you the houndstooth cloth as well.

I traded a 2016 Scat Pack Shaker 6M in for a 2019 1320. I absolutely love this car. Not to mention the exsclusivity of the 1320. In 4 years, I have only seen 4 others on the road. And there are a LOT of challengers on the road here in Jacksonville Florida. These cars are very consistant too. I regularly hit 60 in only 3.8 seconds just like Dodge said you could. With a best of 3.6 in great air. I havent taken it to the track but I sure would like to. I have no doubt I could hit the 11.7 that the car is supposed to hit. The beauty of the "baby Demon" is unlike the Demon, 1320 owners can consistantly hit the times and speed Dodge told us you could hit. The best package ever for the Challenger. Thanks for the video. Not enough people know about the 1320. Maybe that's a good thing.

PLEASE DO VS BELOW. So does the 1320 not do well on curves? I live in mountainous curvy area. The 6.4’s torque would be awesome on our hills. But I Love carving curves (largely in part to a Stealth awd aws RT twin turbo and Firebird’s WS6 suspension in my teens ) Just wandering like on a scale 1-100 how much is lost from the scar to 1320 in curve carving? Also PLEASE DO A VS 1320 VS Scat. And please make it as even as possible like on a track or great road with two similarly skilled drivers. The app you use when you are by yourself and drive two cars is cool. But this needs to be a race that should been done already by Dodge. It would be advantageous to each take the E-drag device you use , yeah I would love to see those numbers. But we need the Same tread depth brand size and model rears. Both all Stock hopefully or at least equally modded all the way out to the exhaust tips. Same year car too. I think many people want to know in a real world experience what’s the difference in a quarter between these two cars. PLEASE?! And if you guys have seen some specs in a vs like this please share those. But man I want to see a street race. Just like most of us do weekly in real life. Also a fantasy request if anyone sees a Scat with glass pacs , please record and post lol. Racer X mopar should give you a 1320. Because your specific vids have curved my intentions on getting a GTR or HELLCAT SUV. and you’ve saved my bank accounts. I’m almost convinced to get a 1320 instead of one of those two. Non-race blooded people don’t understand you can’t go buy a Hellcat , or Scat and come to nearest straight stretch and pull off Car and Drivers 3.9 to 2.6 in one. It’s not real world feasibility. Your. If going to hook up unless a lot is done. Regular Joe prob couldn’t do a 6.9 in a scat cause he will burn out. It takes a lot to put that power to the ground. Those guys and gals need to get a Cat SUV if they want even close to magazine numbers. Me included and I’ve raced four digit (thousands) of quarter miles. Without big , wide, sticky, hot, rears you just smelling your own smoke and wasting good rubber. But thank you so much for great content great editing no nonsense accurate info. Fantastic work. It can do well on curves IF, you add a front AND rear strut tower brace. That's what I used to do on mine. Then I would take it off before going to the dragstrip

Wide body is a handling option not a drag option. I agree with weight but I don’t drag my car and for me the wide body is the only way to go unless you live at the drag strip. The 1320 should of had a increase in horse power but Dodge didn’t want it to blow out the hellcat.

@artillerybuff2000 I'm not looking for additional HP. I love the sound! I was going back and forth between my RT and a ScatPack. I test drove 2 Scat Packs and 2 RTs and a Charger SP. I didn't care for the Charger bc I don't think a true sports car should have 4 doors, in my opinion. Not much of a price difference between the RT and Scatpack. My insurance was going to be a few dollars more on the Scatpack. Ultimately, I went with the RT. I didn't like the Bees on the Scatpack (seems like they were everywhere and I thought it looked cartoonish). The RT had a better sounding exhaust while idling, and it had more features than the Scat pack. I am a girl who loves sporty things, but I really don't need a whole lot of HP. Just something that looks nice and sounds good. I'm not trying to race and show out. Lol. I had a 2018 GT when I traded it in for the Challenger. I think they look sleek and mean. Not necessarily the HP I was looking for, but I don't think I'll go back to a Mustang.

Line up any ten speed 5.0 or ten speed Camaro you want on the Drag Strip and the 1320 Challenger will beat them a quarter mile at a time over and over again. It's the same thing for the Super Bee Charger. These cars have the Drag Racing tech and hardware that the Demon has. I just watched a guy with a bone stock 1320 Challenger run high ten's. Give a 1320 a FBO and perhaps a Jay Greene tune and you'll be doing 9's NA. Dodge gives you a real American Muscle Car with unlimited potential. My only zonk for the 1320 Challenger is it doesn't come with a factory Widebody kit, if i end up getting a 1320 Challenger I'm putting an aftermarket Widebody kit on that beast.

Had a 1320, but an A10 Mustang GT traps 119-120 stock. Yes a 1320 "should" post a quicker time, but with an E85 mail order tune everywhere for a 5.0L, they're mid 11s at 121+ pretty consistently.

What’s the largest tire that can be safely put on these stock 20” x 8” factory wheels? And are pilot cup 2s still the best? I don’t think they come in 20” so I guess the pilot sport cup 2 connect is what I’m looking at. Any other suggestions?

You could run some 255s on an 8 inch rim safely. Though finding 255s vs 245s is the real question

​@@HellcatM6 ​​ I love my shaker scat manual, it literally would make no since to make a 1320 in a manual since it would be heavy & consistently slow, the manual maybe lighter but the 1320s out of the box will pull low 12s to mid 11s and stock trim no manual challengers can reliably claim that, their some definite tradeoffs with a 1320 for anything but Drag Strip use, it's only ment to be a cruiser off the strip, those suspension mods are purpose centric, they will likely hold there value among the drag racers for sure.

Agreed! Besides, he is wrong, the 1320 only comes with an auto. Also, if you don't add any weight wasting options, the base 1320 will run close to mid 11's all day right out of the box on a good track with good DA. Mine runs 11.8 at Las Vegas with bad DA...
