I’ll tell you why Deegan isn’t as pumped which I noticed myself. Most of these kids racing came from very little to nothing and really sacrificed to get to be a Champion. It’s not that Deegan didn’t work for it but let’s face it his family is wealthy and money to him isn’t that big of a deal. He hasn’t sacrificed what 99% of riders sacrifice to win a championship.
@doglover136_3 ай бұрын
i think he isn’t that pumped because he was basically expected to win it, no one thought he was going to win smx, he did
@mxbadboy2633 ай бұрын
Most of the top riders have been raised to race motocross/supercross since birth. Throw in the huge motorhomes and top machinery and no need to work and why would they not be champions or at least competitive? Sure they train and put in the practice but your right absolutely no sacrifice to get there.
@MX76er3 ай бұрын
@@mxbadboy263maybe the worst take yet, privilege lends a helping hand but Deegan has put in all the work to be champion. You have to respect the champ.
@dirtshaker46163 ай бұрын
@@MX76er that’s not the point. The point of the conversation was he wasn’t excited it’s not about respect or the work he put in. The point is when you’re broke living out of a van and get to be a champion you have a lot more appreciation for how you got there. Think about how you’d feel to give back to your family after you’ve made it and know your set for life. When you come from money and never struggled it’s a different emotion. Hence the reason Haiden Deegan wasn’t as excited with emotion.

In all honesty, you know pretty quick if its actually worth chasing the dream or just for fun. Its just a hard pill to swallow for a lot of dads and kids, most all of the elite guys was also fast af on a 50 for no reason 😆 throwing opp whips on a 65 smh. Some kids just have that no fear, handfull of throttle, want to win attitude from birth, 99% do not.

Dads that get their sons to the top, or even just to the pros, have accomplished something truly special. I want NO part of it. I'm a recreational rider with my son, and that is it.
@mxbadboy2633 ай бұрын
Yeah, living vicariously through your son is not cool. I can't get into Deegan's head but if I was him I would be thinking "are you happy now dad?". How many high school experiences is he missing not going to high school? How many of these kid's only know home schooling for no other reason than to race?
