One of the worst experience with Solar Sqaure. Read below. 8 months of engagement money collected but still meter is not connected. Site visit happened in Oct-2024, collected 10K. Mentioned connect with contractor for Load change. No action / communication till 26-Dec-2023. 13-Jan-2024 visited for detailed engineering visit to prepare the plan 01-Feb-2024 Design shared, but unfortunately none of the design specifications highlighted during the site visit was captured in the shared plan. End up explaining again and again finally closed on all aspect on 14-Mar-2024 14-Mar-2024 asked for 30% payment - Design approval, same was paid on 15-Mar-2024 16-Mar-2024- Solar Square said I need to make remainder of all payment for panel delivery 06-Apr-2024 After a long debate agreed, made payment of total 80% for arranging the panel delivery & installation ( I was not confident of the services because of my past experience of the delays and complete black out period days in between the stages) 09-Apr-2024 - Panel delivered and installed, I thought electricity will be generating from that day, unfortunately till date no meter is fixed and no action by Solar Square. ( Installation team was very good, did the proper work) Celebrating excellent customer service and experience. They sold Bifacial panel, I also purchased thinking more power will be generated. But when I thought after the installation, I asked the question of, if shadow impacts the generation of electricity how the back side of panel crossing with metal bars will generate the electricity from the backside of the panel. No direct answer to the question. I am completely looted by wrong selling of the worst company.

Any how even after using solar panels, we will not be able completely remove electrical supply connection, minimum pay will be permanent. the return will not as he said.

Great talk. My house (5 members) is having roof top solar 3kw on grid system from 2021 and we haven't paid any electricity bills till date. The Kerala state electricity board charge you only a fixed\ meter reading charge (around Rs 250 monthly ). The excess units produced by the solar system is technically sold to the state at government rate and the money is credited to your bank account once in every 6 months. We haven't cleaned the panels after installation hope periodic heavy rain is taking care of it. The bonus is you can save a lot of money on your LPG if you are using an induction cooker or hot plate.

The biggest drawback is that the battery needs replacement after every 5 yrs and would cost around 70K. Also, the back up time of batteries would start to reduce upon passage of time

All of his theory is not correct. As he stated at starting that you put your AC' s at 26 degrees is good. It is good but that time your AC will run on blower it will throws the normal air like fan. ACs have their temperature settings from 18 degrees to 24 degrees. Above 24deg. AC will runs on blower which will circulate the air like fan.

Umm my ac chills at 26. Coz room temp is 40+ when room temp will reach 26 it'll cut off and then again pick off when temp increases. There is a sensor in ac for Ambient temp.

Setting Ac at 26 means AC will work till room temperature reaches.only then blower works and that is true with any temperature even 18 degree
