What a wonderful idea!! I enjoyed this video so much!! I am originally from California, where there are lots of earthquakes. I remember, as a teen, sitting on the potty during a particularly bad one. The water in the bowl was swishing about, and I was so concerned I would get pee water on myself!! Funny memory from back in 1983!

These are fabulous little clusters Rach! I've got hundreds of billions, mine are bronze colour I've been picking at fir years but now this has given me inspiration for all my scrap fabric nuts you. Just love it!!! I slept thru the earthquake 😊. My son woke up thinking I'd sneaked in his room and shook his head to frighten him 😂😂😂😂

I keep wishing I could make these kinds of things, but I don’t have bulb pins and that’s how everyone else does them. For some reason the realization finally hit me while watching this video, I have tons of string and embroidery floss, so threaded onto a needle once with a loose tie at the top or tacked together with a button on the top would still mostly allow the movement, so maybe I’ll finally make some! And if anybody with any social media wants to spread the idea, I’d appreciate it. I always have a hard time adjusting things like this to the supplies I have and I know I’m not the only one

If you have alcohol inks you can dye your bulb pins to grunge them up if you want to. Love your videos.

I’m excited again 😂. Can’t wait to use my digital kit fabric for this tutorial and it’s another thing I haven’t done before. I was in Morriston hospital with my dad the day of the Swansea earthquake and the room I was in shook. It scared the life out of me!

Genius idea once again Rach - I love these and I love them in journals. Sometimes I pin them together w / safety pins then sit at the machine for a while- but , these are perfect to do w / watching videos - or especially listening to my podcasts/ audio books- that way I can pay attention and not have to listen to the chapter again 🤭
