Meet Rachel Bloom, a hilarious and talented actress, comedian, songwriter, singer, and producer. You may know her from co-creating and starring in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", a role which won her an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critic's Choice Award. Her Netflix comedy special Rachel Bloom: Death, Let Me Do My Special came out in October. I’ve been a fan for a long time so I’m delighted to share this episode. EnJOY!

Brilliant talk - two clear headed people having a chat, always a treat to hear.

I love when Craig states a fact that seems surprising but believable and then he waits a second and goes "now that's not true, but". Also love Rachel. And Craig. And the podcast. And soup. Lots of things really.

I would love to have a Craig Ferguson reading list/book club. THAT would be interesting.

I'd love just to get some book recommendations from him. Also, besides his two more personal books, he's also written a novel and I listened to it during the pandemic- it really is very well written, funny too, poignant, really impressive.

There is so much of being something other than what you actually are. Labeling yourself something you want to be rather than what your reality is. Has been ridiculous and obvious that it has only the goal of disruption of normalcy or to pit people against each other. Divided we fall…

I love Craig. He has a wonderful spirit. But I do wish he interviewed his guests in person. There's something missing from these remote interviews.

I'm OK with the zoom, since they can connect visually. It's helpful watching these conversations on KZbin vs just the audio.

Unfortunately there are so many parents that are just mean to their kids. Not necessarily by hitting or abusing. There are so many hurt children or adults with trauma from their childhood. I wish every parent would feel about their kids as you do (most just feel that joy when they're babies but then it slowly changes) :(

I am an Atheist. I have a moral compass based on empathy and a modified version of Utilitarianism (most good for most people). I would call myself a Humanist. And the definition of Atheism that I hold to is the rejection of the claim of the super natural until the burden of proof is met. Its not "There is no god"; its more of a "OK, prove it to me objectively. Can we repeatedly and objectively show this was a God".

Utilitarianism is a dangerous idea because good becomes subjective .

@@woobiefuntime Ah yes. The Bible. Where god tells people not to lie, then lies his ass off? Don't kill, except if your kid is disobedient, or someone has land you want, or the next guy has a woman you want? Where the prince of peace tells his followers to "bring my enemies before me and kill them before me" (Luke 19:27). Very objective standard you have there.

I sat hospis trying to understand where people thought they were going.. Ive come to believe I'll go back to the soil, and thats it. I see god used as either a crutch or an excuse for bad behavior.

Hilarious how Hollywoodites like this nice lady view the so called "Manisphere". They completely miss the point and end up lost in irony.

Wow. Halfway through, and I'm done with her. Y'all do y'all, enjoy the success, but I'll never watch her again. She destroyed the light hearted nature of her videos, and it will be hard to watch "Touch My Boobies" again, if not impossible. :)
