@@mees2751 Now you’re being an extremist. The percentage of black men who prefer black women actually is greater than that of white men. This tunnel vision approach will be to your detriment because it assumes all white men are husband material. You might end up with exactly what you tried to avoid because pigs exist in every group. Choose character, and that can be a black man or non black man.

My caucasian best friend taught me how I was suppose to be treated based on how he treated me. Especially not having any good male figures growing up in my life. I am so happy for them both. @@millihuggins1688 How do you know she is bleaching her skin?! IF she was planning on bleaching herself to make herself look more "white" and she was leaning towards white men why not bleach herself BEFORE her season as Bachelorette in order to make herself more desirable to ALL the white men?! Why wait until she HAS the man she wants, fine behind white Latino Bryan to decide to bleach herself when he obviously fell for her the way she was? You must not have watched her entire season, because if you had you would have found out ALL she had dated were black men and she was unhappy. Her sister is married to a white man, maybe that opened her eyes more to the possibilities. Some of her best female friends were white women BEFORE she ever joined the bachelor/ bachelorette franchise. Why? She is an upper middle class black woman who probably went to predominantly white schools, lived in predominantly white neighborhoods, and going to law school where she was once again surrounded mostly by whites I commend her for trying to remain true and STILL date black. However, I agree with @ Miss Klassy about why she was leaning towards whites AND I can understand with all the games black men play she decided enough is enough ESPECIALLY after seeing how they treat white women, no matter how skinny, how fat, how damaged her hair and/or skin, how poor, they will marry her and lift up her and her entire family while acting as if a beautiful black woman is never enough. Kudos Rachel! Why give those men more consideration than they give us just because they happen to be black?! Also you DO realize that whatever filters they use on the camera and/or the film you can look high yellow one minute, black as night the next, and then just brown in others. Unless you have seen her face to face IN PERSON, before the show and recently you can't say with a certainty that she has bleached herself. Smh

Being Black in the west is not the same as being Black in Africa.for exemple a black boy/girl in Africa can dream of becoming a CEO of KPMG, Deloitte etc but a black person in the west can only dream of occupying those positions because they are mostly given to white people.

Lisa Cossa then she should have never slept with Peter. This is what make Peter change his mind about her. he felt that she should not be doing things with him and then go and do the same thing with Bryan if she really liked him. After Hannah Brown came out and said she slept with Peter Rachel looking attention said she slept with Peter Krause on her show. So now tell me who was right to protect their heart and embarrassment the guys in the house was speaking about her and Bryan. peter did the right thing by not messing up his name by offering to get engage to her.

Everyone always trolls black women and I’m sick of it. That’s why we have to be so strong. Would a white women receive death threats, absolutely not. Everyone wants to see black women emotionally on the ground. I’m so empowered to see black women stand up for themselves in an emotionally composed way. I love when black women find love because we are significantly undermined and underestimated.

The plantation part is crazy!! I was given an "opportunity" to visit one my 1st visit to Louisiana. If it was with my family or all Black people educational trip, yes, I would go. But as it was going to be a mixed group of people, I could not allow myself. I foresaw myself being tense and uncomfortable.

what's crazy to me is that someone as successful, attractive, and graceful as Rachel would have such a hard time finding a good man that she would have to go on a tv show. this goes to show that the community is hopeless.

Yep. It was the same with Lauren from 'Love is Blind'. She is a beautiful, smart, charismatic & ambitious black woman that could not find HEALTHY love until she opened her options & found Cameron. I'm so happy for these women. It is a representation of whats going in the communitae. With the number imbalance ( well over 2 million more blk women than men & 3x blk men dating out) blk women HAVE to open their options.

I respect the effort and endurance it took to handle this matter and the support available from her husband. I would say however, the notion that when we become more developed that we automatically become more diverse in our choice for a husband/wife falls short of the special needs of black love. Respectfully the black woman (and man) is still relearning (after 100's of years of destruction & rupture) how to receive and give love to each other and reset the truth and reality of black love. Black people are subtly made to feel it is unacceptable or short sighted in today's diverse world, to choose, heal and redesign the black man and woman relationship. So YES! I and many black women are growing AND still writing that beautiful list our sister wrote at the age of 18. I still look forward to my Black OMEGA (I see them/us everyday) and RELEARNING how to do that unique love, while ALSO expanding of my mind and ability to interact with anyone, regardless of creed or color etc. I can have/do both. It takes a specific sound sense of knowledge, patience and spiritual understanding to grow a black love relationship. It is not for everyone. It is indeed my/our Right, after all that has and is still happening to Conciously repair and Celebrate Black on Black Love and the Families it develops WITHOUT apology or being made to feel the black relationship 'is not the thing anymore'. Peace to her choice and their marriage. Peace and Growth to BlackBlackLove.

I absolutely hate the fact that Americans made everything about Race, Ryan is Colombian, im a black Colombian and back home you see a lot of interracial couples, like it blows my mind that in 2022 this is still odd in America, it is sooo weird, also the black Americans always try to put everyone in the same basket, like back home we dont eat fried chicken it it not a thing, so one day when I asked about this a black lady rudely told me that I was ignorant about black history to which I said: madam, i was born and raised Colombian, of course i know my ancestors are black but fried chicken is not a thing for us, you should respect that period. There black latinos, black Caribbean but the Afro Americans want to make everything about themselves. As soon I became a physician I left that land because the negativity that comes from the black community there towards other black ethnicities is horrible. Another day, in Boston someone said to me that I was faking my accent and that i was ashamed of being black and thats why i was faking it, i laughed soooo hard, i said well, my first language is Spanish lady, so im sorry my english is not perfect but I get by with an accent and all, so no im not ashamed at all to be black, ppl just need to understand that a black Panamenian, Cuban, Colombian, venezuelan, brazilian is not the same as a black American, we come from different cultures, have different food, different accents, we have in common our ancestors and skin tone past that point we are all different, so pls pls black Americans stop putting everyone in the same basket
