UK is falling, the economy in free fall. But the person in charge can find time to waltz around in davos. Make it make sense.

Sure, I bet you think that working from home isn’t as productive as working on site - similarly, the people in charge of growing our economy in the world is out meeting counterparts from around the world. Glad I can help

Working from home isn’t as productive as working on site. Do you realise how many people will be working behind the scenes to get the attention of Rachel reeves on important topics and here she is doing a promotional campaign?? Talk is cheap, and a waste of attention. Talk when you have results not before you haven’t done anything.

Labour just do not have a clue ,and hoping for a handout or a freebie, you don't promote growth by battering everything and everyone with higher tax , this government is hated in the UK

Stop making excuses and blaming previous governments. Absolutely disgraceful , Reeves.

11:13 wow Bloomberg don't make it too obvious which party in UK politics you support, hilarious how Reeves was expecting the audience to applause yet her smile winced when she realised that the crowd would prefer even Sunak's Tory party over Starmer's Labour. This "interview" was just a bunch of soft ball questions with no real scrutiny

Resign. She is out of her depth. Obvious insecurities about her talent too since she had to “exaggerate” (to put it mildly) about her experience working as an Economist.

Poor RR wouldn't last 5 minutes in an interview for a job. Someone has told her the key word is drive, just keep saying “drive”, then witter on with 14 years as that's a number small enough for even RR to remember .

Two absolute amateurs that do not exude confidence. Reynolds has been in politics all his working life and has no grasp of business or economics. Rachel from accounts is so far out of her depth, it is so embarrassing.

By removing 5 million immigrants who do not contribute and who access welfare and housing benefit....the GDP per person in the UK would increase by 10%. Lower end wages would increase and housing pressure would be relieved thus making homes affordable to all. The NHS would no longer be overwhelmed and crime would reduce as would government debt. So... why isn't it being mentioned....?

Successful injection of monies result in the creation of more money within the society....wind farms for example, while not having any ROI, do not drive any further industry within the UK. This is a graphic demonstration why governments are the worst entity to place money to work

We are open for business, but business must want to come here , they are not going to come to a high tax environment, we all know the scrounges and sick claimants, pip claimants etc , there’s just not enough money to pay for this . They want to grow the economy , but how? , they want to tax absolutely everything, their dreamers .
