Rachel Reeves Is “Lying Through Her Teeth” | Taxes WILL Rise Says Chancellor

In an interview on The News Agents podcast, Reeves shared the nation's financial troubles, indicating that taxes might need to be increased in the autumn budget. However, she's keeping the details of which those will be confidential for now. She promised that value-added tax, (VAT) national insurance, and income tax won’t be affected.
Reeves also pointed fingers at former Tory chancellor Jeremy Hunt, accusing him of misleading the public about the state of the UK's finances. She admitted she was caught off guard by the £22 billion fiscal gap left by the previous Conservative government.

Britain we get people coming in with not a single penny and we give them everything, they can’t speak the language, they don’t contribute so they take out of the pot and never pay anything into it so they are a net loss foe the country. And even if you let the work they wouldn’t earn enough to contribute…..they’d have to pay rent at least £800-1000 a month, bills food etc etc…..so they’d probably need to be earning a minimum 30 grand a year just to survive…….now people coming here in a boat with no money and who can’t speak English are not going to working jobs that pay 30+ thousand pounds per year. So they should NOT be here, end of.

I live in Bicester and agree that the new estates are absolutely awful. When some foundations were built a few years ago, we were really and honestly perplexed as to why they were building so many garages! Turned out they were house foundations! Most houses have been bought up. by foreign buyers and are rented out to immigrants now.
