This song has always been in my playlist ever since it came out. Back in 2019, I found out something I was not suppose to find out, broke me inside and felt dead. Fast forward to 2021, my daughter is born. Love songs don't always need to be romantic in meaning right? "I come alive" with my daughter, she brought me back to feeling alive. I have been a fan ever since i heard happily ever after, I cant thank rachel enough, shes someone who I look up to and her music stopped me from ending my life without her realising. I actually love this song so much, and its frustrating to see all the negative comments people have left. We are all individual people who enjoy different music's genres. My former band mates moved to LA while I was going through chemo. The girl that "replaced" me for a tour became their new lead singer. So. I decided to stay true to the message of He Is We and allow the message to come from my heart. It's been a powerful and life changing experience, but it made me fall into the arms of the fans. And I couldn't be more thankful. I've dedicated every song from this EP to those who stood beside me as I struggled and never abandoned me or the meaning of He Is We. So as Rachel Taylor, you get all of me. No one speaking for me. No one controlling my sound or message. It's purely my pain, my horrors and my journey to where I am now. A few bumps, bruises and scars but I'm standing up and doing what I am called to do.
