I commented the same thing lol My husband and I have been building custom estates for 30 years and have never seen that before. It was probably what they called a "back kitchen" in the original home, and because theres sometimes existing plumbing, people tend to renovate it into bathrooms, but I've never seen anyone decide to keep an exterior entrance in the bathroom before.
