Reema story is one of the ones can relate! Im even a newbie but good in graphics, but after all the testimonies and advice, I had been there in searching some theme or need that I couldnt find in Amazon and I thought HEY THIS IS A NICHE! but then , oh well yes it can be, but if its too narrow! sometimes you dont have enough demand or market to make profit from, RIGHT?? Which it will be the enough NUMBER IN SALES that make a publisher goes all the way TO THAT NICHE?? THANKS :) 🙏

I'm 60 this year, spent 30 years looking after my parents until their deaths. Because of the trauma across so many years, I'm now on a pension, bit like vets with ptsd. I can't go out to work but sitting home living on a small pension is doing my head in. So about a month ago, I started doing this, not a single sale, so far. I want to focus on educational books, notebooks, etc, from young children to university level. A $1000, would be wonderful...it would pay for essentials. I just can't think how to break into the market and I don't understand copyright laws. I'm trying to stay positive though. How do you get your book noticed, is what I want to understand and what I am worst at doing. Thanks for these videos, it helps keep me going.

I like this interview and others on this channel for being so realistic. No annoying clickbait thumbnails like "easy $1000/day no effort sidehustle" etc. :)

Really interesting stuff. Really positive. Of course there is work involved. Yes actual work. This lady talks about 20 months to kick off.. that’s pretty good. But it’s the effort. It’s the quality. It’s the persistence. It’s about not giving up. Well done.

So I only have 1 pen name. I am an author as well. I publish my low-content books under that name. I LOVE the design process I am extremely passionate about journals and books. I have set myself apart from many other journals. I feel that my interior is different. I keep hearing the low-content ones arnt saling or not doing that well. That scares me because although I just started and I do feel so happy with what I have done and my business strategy is pretty solid. I am afraid maybe I won’t make the goal of making that passive income. Is that what is the bottom line I will be facing for only doing low-content books????😭

Tiny niches can still be quite profitable. If you generate fewer sales in a particular niche then you would need more books in other niches to make up for it. They all add up!

I do not have one creative bone in my body. I am all left brained. It's all about logic and analytics. I have tried so many projects over the years and I fail at them all because my left brain gets in the way. I start measuring and making everything linear and organized and introducing numbers to everything and it becomes so tedius that I stop. I've done it enough now that I see a pattern. I don't now how to either ignore my left brain when it comes to this or how to incorporate it w.o the creativity part. this is why I suck at affiliate marketing. I cannot for the life of me make posts and ads to attract attention. I'm too damn logical!

Write a book on logic, analytics, statistics, etc. If you've been through uni, then you probably know of academics who were crappy at what they taught. Perhaps cover a subject but so it better than they did.

Hey, you don’t need to know graphics. Or how to create them. There’s so much free stuff out there it’s a game changer.

Perhaps high content books on Amazon? Also, there are sooooo many tutorials on youtube. I knew nothing about graphic design years ago and am making $2k per week or more on Etsy from products sourced with clipart on creative fabrica. It’s definitely about mindset and fortitude-believing you can learn and do it. 🙂 There’s even a free photoshop clone online called Photopea. It supports smart objects for premade mockups and everything. There’s so much out there that to help ppl start a business and make $ starting from $0. Eh Nihilo! 🙂💕

What about if you have absolutely no skills like her? 😢Where can I begin with no graphic design experience or even a creative knack?
@RachelHarrisonSund Жыл бұрын
Most low-content publishers aren't professional graphic designers; they use professional quality stock imagery to make their designs look good. Having said that, if you don't have a good eye for design you'll need to outsource the design to someone who does, as design is very important.
