wow that is a great training in so many ways. 1. I bought Affinity Designer but don't really use it as I'm well experienced in InDesign and have not put aside time to dabble with it but it is great to see how super easy you made it seem to use it. 2. I've always wondered how color by numbers was made, always assumed it was auto generated software lol ......"says the graphic designer". Thank you so much for this tutorial. I may not make a whole book out of it but I can definitely add a few pages of it to a themed book. I have watched many of your videos and bought your trainings but have to say this video here has got to be one of my favs, hands down. Thank you!

Hi Rachel, I've been following your content for a long time. I could really use some help with my A+ content after watching one of your videos. I've tried absolutely everything I can think of, and it's been a full year. I cannot figure our why my A+ content is obscenely blurry (to the point of obfuscation). I'm a Design Director who works in marketing, I should be able to get it, but there's no information on a solve for this. I've seen plenty of forum threads of people stating the same issue with no end solution anywhere. Have you encountered/heard of this issue, and do you know any best practices for making sure A+ content will upload and display correctly?

mam, recently am facing a big problem my last 2 no-content books is under review for 8 days what is my problem? please mam give me some fruitful advice.
@KwikVideoMaker2 жыл бұрын
@@recipevalley5920 KDP is getting tons of books submitted daily for reviews. 8 days is really not a long time to wait on a response from such a massive company as Amazon. Did you check your email fro a response in spam/junk folder? Start creating more books while you wait. If those 2 are approved...then what? Keep moving while you wait.

Could someone please show how to actually get a coloring book uploaded? No more Canva stuff. How do we create the front material and build the entire pdf for upload. Some of us have our own art and don’t need Canva

I'm definitely interested in this niche, but for adults, which is a lot harder. Most pre-made coloring pages for adults are mandelae rather than representational stuff. I'm looking for a software solution to find the edges in a photograph. Thanks for this video - it was very informative.

Maybe I need to watch the video over again but why do you need to draw the lines to make sections when you are just going to put the same number in it - like for instance the number 1 all over the sky? Otherwise GREAT video !
@Hedriks2 жыл бұрын
In my coloring books, for something like that, I'd make my lines a lighter grey and line thickness a little thinner. That way, it's not so dominant in the finished colored result, for children and adults.
@RachelHarrisonSund2 жыл бұрын
Yes, great point, Hedrik! I would do the same, but it can be difficult when working with artwork that's been imported into AP in this fashion. Much easier if you're just opening up an EPS or AI file in Illustrator.

So basically this book would take about 30 hours to make right? It looks like it took about 1 hour to make this page, x 30 pages plus the cover. Sometimes I think I’m super slow but maybe that’s just how long medium content takes?

Do you have information on copyrights. If you take a graphic from creative fabrica and alter it, do you automatically have copyrights to that? Do you need documents stating you have copyrights? Do I need a business or llc for copyrights? I have lots of questions regarding that, can you help. (Haha)

Hello, Rachel! :) What do you think about using the word "Notebook" in our title or subtitle when we publish no-content products? It seems to be a tough and inconclusive subject.
@RachelHarrisonSund2 жыл бұрын
There's no issue using keywords in titles, as long as they sound natural and there is no keyword stuffing. For example, "Composition Notebook" sounds completely natural, whereas, "Composition Notebook High School Seniors School Supplies" sounds unnatural and has way too many keywords.

Question: When you make a "Copyright Page" like you did near the end of your video, shouldn't you also give credit to the artist (like the one who made this turtle image) and put in their email, website or contact or is that unnecessary?
@RachelHarrisonSund2 жыл бұрын
This is only necessary if you're using free artwork that requires attribution of the artist as part of the licence agreement.

Is ot ok to put in a kdp book a contact information ? I thought that Amazon doesn’t like directing customers to another pages than Amazon’s…
