Watching Linda repair dolls is a "favorite of mine. " She freely shares her repair (tips & tricks ) to restore the life of those in need. Also, Rachel has the BEST channel ever on dolls; like her MOM, she brings us content that cannot be duplicated elsewhere! Thank you, Rachel. ❤

I adore Grrrip glue! I started using it when I started making multimedia dolls. It doesn't soak through fabric and it has a firm, elastic texture when dry

The wonderful Carmel Doll Shop has a recently sold doll on their French Bebe page that looks exactly like your beautiful mystery doll. It is described as a SFBJ era Dep sold by the Jumeau firm, head having been made by Simon & Halbig. Love the whole video! Your shop is a joy to follow😊

Oh no! How long will Linda be gone? I so look forward to watching her restoring dolls, extending their lives even further. I do so agree about the camaraderie of doll workshops. Mine is a lonely hobby in the doll desert of Wales. It would be so nice to have a doll buddy or group, but there is no way to meet up as I can't travel now. Pam, if you ever read this, your new Jumeau is beautiful. Working girl or not! I'd love to see more of your collection and some of the things you have made at Alice's workshop. Do you have a blog?

I have never heard of a Sankyo Monsieur Giraud Musical Doll, but she sounds adorable🤗🤗💖💖💖💖💖!! What year was she made and what company made her?
@Momotakeda Жыл бұрын
@@wantingoneangel8976 She is porcelain doll with music box inside her.. Google dont have further information about that doll. But based on what I've heard from a local doll group , it was designed by Monseur Giraud, and produced by Sankyo in Japan around 1970s.

You don’t even know how to spell “breaking” or the difference between there and “their.” 😂

Hi. I'm in UK. I just literally saved a doll from going in the bin (trash to you in USA) yesterday... My neighbour was about to throw her away. As her niece's kids do not play with her. Luckily we were chatting and I spotted her and asked if I could have her. It came from her next door neighbours house. The man that lives there now is the son of the woman who owned this doll, his mum. She had brought it ready for grandkids but they lost interest in the doll and when the mum passed and the son was going to throw the doll away my next door neighbor asked if she could have her for her niece's to play with... But they were not interested in the doll and my neighbour just kept her on the bed in the spare room. Covered in dog and cat hair and grime... She is absolutely filthy and needs a good clean. You can see she's had nail polish in places at some point and some type of paint in her eyes and is missing a few eye lashes on her left eye. She has stunning blue eyes with amazing detail. And short blonde hair. I don't think the hair has been cut by children. But it is dirty and will need a good clean. She's had her nostrils painted with something. But this doll seems in pretty good condition in my opinion. The only mark on her back says. Made in England. Her body is hard plastic her head is? Softer, you can press it gently. (Forgotten already what the head is made from) Watched that yesterday. Her hair is implanted into the softer plastic into little holes. Not a wig. I had all boys so never had chance to buy dolls. But my married son has two girls and my granddaughters love their dolls I managed to get them in charity shops and on face book for sale. They really play with their dolls and tend to, what I would call, ruin them... But they get a lot of joy playing with them. So my intention is to clean this doll upfor them to play with.. I know very little about Dolls apart from watching a couple of your posts. I have already started the process of cleaning her clothes. She does not have her original clothes. But ones that have been made from my neighbours, neighbours' son's mum and her sister , knitted and material... And the vest on this doll is actually a type that would have been for a real baby from a shop here in UK that has been closed for at least thirty years. Have you got any tutorials on how to clean a doll? Should I completely immerse her in water? Or would that ruin her movement. Her eyes open and close. Her arms and legs move nicely and freely not too stiff or loose. What cleaning products/chemicals should I use. And how do I wash her hair without making it go frizzy.? Any help would be grateful I can send pics. She's quite a bit doll.
