Who ever says that this lady does not have a talent or she not the most talented pop star of her generation is blind and insecure. From being an ordinary Pop Star in the Philippines she was able to bring 2 silver medals from Astana Song Festival and Shanghai Music Festival in 2005 and she became an award winning theatrical/musical star in the Little Mermaid and Tarzan to becoming an award winning international star in West End as Gigi and Fantine. Now she is going to be Gigi again but this time it's in Broadway and another big project is awaiting her even if her Broadway stint has not even started yet, as Eliza for the musical Hamilton. Rachelle is the queen of the new breed of stars in the Philippines, including the stars who made it in the year 2000 onwards. She is a true pride.

why is everyone saying that Rachelle's version is better than Lea and other fantine? i love rachelle, and im a fan, i also like this version of her, but vocally, the vibrato is not appropriate for the emotion, which made her sound like a heartbroken teenager. im not hating, and i understand that youre just proud of her, but giving an honest critique and not just being a blind fan also makes u a good fan.

JesPersson i understand that this is your opinion, but for me, Lea's range helped her so much in captivating emotions. Her deep notes in the transition to "but the tigers come at night" was chilling. I felt the emotions there and you can see it in her face. This is also really good. However, Lea is the best eponine and. You can actually also say that Lea is also good in comparison to Ruthie.

JesPersson I saw Lea in Broadhurst Theatre Broadway and Rachelle on west end. They have both different treatments of the character but both made me lost it! Lea was angrier I found and Rachelle was more subtle. But you can hear sniffles in the crowd when they both died. And when they came back to pick up Valjean their singing made me lost it again!
