If you’re learning English and looking specifically for how to learn English speaking, here I give you an in-depth tutorial. Spoken English is a skill that students learn alongside of their more traditional studies. In this video I take you through one of my one-of-a-kind Ben Franklin exercises. We’ll use a movie clip to do a thorough analysis of the spoken English used and I’ll show you how to improve your spoken English as we go. I’ve developed this process for learning English over the last 10 years and my students have always loved it! If you’re looking for a fun and unique approach for learning English I think you’ll benefit greatly. Helping English students learn how to improve their English has been my passion for years and I’m excited to help you!

That is what I thought too!! I love Halsey's songs , but she sings really fast. There are too many linking sounds in her song. And learning linking pounce by listening to a song is pretty good to practice and could go over it over without feeling boring

Fascinating how you can elaborate on the pronunciation of a 30 second dialog during 30 minutes and I still take great delight in every moment of this thorough analysis. I gotta review all of your Ben Franklin videos. Just subscribed to the playlist. I alreeady watched some of them a few months ago, but I'll watch them again because there are some points I understand better after studying other resources. Just a question: what american accent does the actress playing the mother imitate ? Thanks again for your amazing videos. There are a lot of ESL/American Pronunciation KZbin channels out there, but yours is definitely in my top tier, if not the absolute best of all (I mean it).

I think it is really useful for us to analyze (with you) the films or any other visual and auditory video clips because the most difficult task for us is to recognize, reconnect and trace the sounds to their meaningful writing. For me in particular, the most difficult thing about American English is the acknowledgment/translation of the sounds heard, in their writing and meaning.
