THE BEST bug repellant natural spray is vinegar of the 4 thieves. I make it every year 1 month before the spring. Takes 1 month to steep. Been making it for years and my whole family loves it.

I roadtripped solo from South Dakota back home to Louisiana at the end of the summer of 2016 and I know it's not the same region at all!, but this brought back SO many memories. Good tips. For camping, I’d put the salads in zip lock bags with a snack size bag of dressing inside. Mason jars are heavy and non-collapsible. For camping it’s great to have containers that “disappear” when you’re done leaving you more space

For your dressing recipe, try adding a little mustard as a binder of the oil and vinegar. It adds a tangy flavor!!!

the little containers from applesauce fit into the top of the mason jar without falling in. You can put one in, put some dressing in, then put the lid on as usual. no need to buy separate containers. May need the wide mouth jars, i forget, but I have the set up downstairs, just never did it! lol

When you make the bug repellent add the oils after the meted wax and coconut oil has cooled then add oil. The integrity of the oil breaks down when warm.

I suggest removing the cardboard core in bathrm tissue and pull the tissue from the center. Can also be done with paper towels so the core doesn't soak up the body wash
