Yes, this is brilliant! I heard the song by chance on the radio two or three times when it was new, twenty years ago and loved it at once. I had seen the video for the original single by the Clash on MTV many years earlier, so I knew about the connection to a storyline set in Arabia /the Middle East...doing the song in an Arabic rock style struck me as genius, straight away! It was hardly noticed at all here in Sweden, certainly not a hit here, but because it got played in a show on national radio I could get a friend to rip it to CD for me - he easily "cut it loose" from the audio stream on their site and converted it to a CD track...you can bet I was grateful for that! :)

Nous avons été arabisés sûrement, mais de là à être des arabes, non. Ils existent dans notre culture, la présence des nos ancêtres berbères et avec des apports des peuples européens et sub-africains,selon les endroits du territoire.
