Just so I can be the first to say it this time, 'Bachmaninoff' A wonderful performance of a piece often overshadowed by the behemoths No. 4 and No. 6 of the same opus

It was wonderful hearing your commentary accompanied by the enticing call of the Pacific waves caressing the nearby shore. I hope you are enjoying some well-earned rest on your vacation! I too am enjoying the delights of the Greek Island of Corfu as I listen to your exquisite performance of this haunting elegy by Rachmaninoff. I wonder what composers like Bach would have made of such 'romantic' harmonic language? I'd like to think Bach would have felt his heart strings being plucked by your sensitive and totally engaging interpretation, as do I. Bravo, Cole: bravo!
