Rachmaninoff's 18th Variation of Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini /Somewhere in Time - Roger Williams

The film Somewhere in Time is known for its musical score which features Roger Williams' piano performance of Rachmaninoff's 18th variation of Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Somewhere in Time which is used throughout the film and composed by John Barry. This is a newly restored video of Roger performing these beautiful songs at the Crystal Cathedral in 1986.

This’s song breaks my heart. It brings so many memories. My husband stayed in the Grand Hotel in 1986. My husband died almost 16 years ago I feel him with me when I hear this song. The tears flow.

Wow the best version of Somewhere in Time by Roger Williams ! Rachemaninoff's 18th variation of Rhapsody on a theme of paganini was so full of emotion. And Somewhere in Time what is a mastery! Was there an Orchestra with him? The people seem to watch an orchestra on the scene center. Roger Williams was a great pianist, too bad he used the orchestra help. I would prefer it on piano solo :)
