With all the laundry you do, I wanted to share my recipe for homemade laundry detergent. The last time I made it the total cost was less than $40.00. Sounds like a lot, but it makes about 24 lbs, and you only need to use one Tbs per load! 1 (4lb 12oz) box of Borax 1 (3lb 7oz) box of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 1 (3lb) container of Oxiclean 2 (14.1oz) bars of Zote Soap or Fels-Naptha Soap, shredded 2 (4lb) boxes of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda 1-2 (55oz) bottles of Purex Crystals Fabric Softener I keep one grater set aside that's dedicated to shredding the soap. Because there's just the two of us in the house, I always give several containers of the laundry detergent away. So fun!

Hey Rach ... Love your videos. I have a suggestion for you about your fridge. The way I keep mine clean is Glad Press and Seal. I just wrap each shelf with a couple of layers and when 1 gets messy I just pull it up and the next layer is already there. I only have to do complete rewrappings every couple of months or so. Maybe this will help you out timewise on cleaning the fridge. Once again I love your videos and your little girl just makes my day. Hope you keep posting for a very long time. Have a great week. great video! since covid, I don’t walk in the house with shoes, i set up a shoe storage in my garage, wow, so fabulous, easy, just leave your shoes, can also have slippers near the shoe storage, and walk in the house. Now i leave the shoes we wear the most in the garage shoe storage system.

I didn't catch the white dogs name but I love it! My kids are all grown and moved out so my pups and hubby are the only things left to clean after. Life would just suck without them! "Sam" is a pit mix and he licks the clean dishes before I can get them put away. If it weren't for Harry the German shepherd, I would never move furniture, he constantly has me moving couches to look for balls, so I may as well clean while it's moved right!?

I had the same thing happen with some blue dish soap I had in a mason jar with a pump. It looked exactly like the issue your gadget is having. I ended up replacing it with a different dish soap holder with a pump and don't have that problem anymore using the same dish soap. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope that tidbit of info helps.

Chatting is better than music. I was wondering if you would consider doing a kids lunchbox meal ideas video. My kids often get pb and j. I have somewhat picky eaters…they are required to eat what I put on the table, but I try to make stuff that has a chance with them. You make realistic meals, so I wondered what lunchboxes are like for you. A lot of moms either pack stuff even I wouldn’t eat or they go nuts decorating the food and making it cute. That’s not how I need to spend time. Anyway…just a request.

Is the container you use for Tide Pods airtight? If so, do you remember where you got it? I just started using tide pods and when my roommate does laundry he forgets to close the bag, which wouldn't be a big deal but it's Hawaii and the humidity is getting to em if I don't catch it in time.

I’m not sure if it’s legit airtight but I’m in Florida and it’s really humid here too and I never have any issues. I found it at Marshall’s. They sell tons of legit airtight containers there for cheap. 😊

I love watching your cleaning videos, i learn so much from watching them. Sadly I can’t use scented products because one of my fur babies Allie has severe allergies to scented anything. Her skin turns all red and she starts scratching her self so badly she sometimes will bleed. Do you have any suggestions on cleaning products that are not scented?

I’m so sorry, poor baby! Almost everything is scented either naturally or artificially. Dawn Powerwash comes in a free and clear version. I’ve seen some natural multi surface cleaners but haven’t tried any. I think I might though after this and see if there are good options out there for people in your situation.

Yukkkk on the fridge liners. Tried them. They collect dirt and are hard to clean. Wiping glass is easier. 😮😂❤

Ok, you can’t find it because it’s completely out of stock. Google “Target zipper bag variety pack”. When the picture shows up, it links you to the item on targets website and they have a notify me when its available button you can click on. Hope this helps.

I'm exhausted watching you work, though you have given me much to think about. can you tell me why your children do not help you in the folding of clothes or other jobs that are age appropriate for them? is it just b/c of filming your videos or are they too young? Personally, I wished that I had involved my children in the cleaning process sooner b/c it's like pulling eye teeth to get them working to complete chores that they should be doing at this age of their life! My children do help, it just depends on the day and what we have going on. The older 3 fold and put away their laundry. The oldest will actually handle his laundry from start to finish most days. They help with the dishes, their bathroom, and clean their own rooms. I help them if I have the free time or we have other things going on. 😊
