I tend to play fairly aggressive but since the update all my lobbies are so passive, no one wants to push and tons of people just sit with a sniper and watch from yonks away

Gets worse in 6 Stars. You either have full lobbies of Crown&Cringe Slug or Sniper Winfield HV spamming without end. they should nerf ammo pool for sniper variants on compact and nerf slug dmg, imho

​@@gregorh.3919I think slugs are fine but buck shot could use some tuning, as you seen with the rival he got a 19 damage arm shot with slugs but buck shot would of spread out just a little and killed, I've had slugs go through peoples arm before their torso leading to a only 140 damage hit when I was only 5 meters away, buck shot has very good range now not that it was ever close to bad

The biggest buff any mechanic got in this game with Engine Upgrade was Trade Windows. They got buffed like I get killed 2 seconds after I landed a Headshot on Enemy.

Not all the shotguns, you missed the handcannons man! You even have the shorty on your thumbnail lol In all seriousness you know ive always generally disliked the slugs. It just felt like im playing a rifle with less range and rate of fire. I like buckshot because it feels like a shotgun. Just sending a wall of lead downrange to splatter all over the enemy. With the buckshot buff ive been having a blast running around the mountains, but I suppose it wouldnt hurt to try slugs again. Youre inspirational that way lol Also seeing you use the Terminus without levering was interesting. Seems it can work with slugs which is neato

I really do not think it is a buff (minus for the handcannons) as the range for the mid and long barrel slug shotguns were already there - you have some luck for longer range headshots now but you also lose the consistency of two tap or three tap body shot at 50m etc

This but without the /s One tap range is perfectly fine and the buff mainly increased two tap range. Besides the bornheim every gun can two tap further than shotguns still. The only difference is that shotguns are now useful beyond 15 meters. Which is perfectly valid.

@KungThulhu yes it's perfectly fine that a romero for example with slugs is better than a sparks in every way, while costing 1/10th and also being able to swap ammo to be the best normal shotgun in the game as well. Perfectly balanced.

​@@kobi399 Its not better than a sparks that is just incredibly stupid to say. The sparks does 149 damage at ranges where the romero with a slug does 25 at most. Slugs have a deviation which prevents them from headshotting consistently at any range. The romero also isn't the best shotgun just because its individual shots have the best ballistics. It has the huge tradeoff of being single shot only. This sounds like a skill issue to me.

Slugs are onehit headshot so is sparks remoero costs 66 sparks 130 romero has buckshot sparks doesnt reomero is single shot so is sparks The only thing where sparks is better is that you can buy a scoped variant. being able to headshoot at much larger range isnt a buff in my opinion you can do this with any pistol + pistols dont have the rng slugs have i play 80% shotgun: buckshot performes way better than slugs the difference between one tap range of slug and buckshot is barely noticeable its like 1m difference and like i said who cares about headshoots with slugs?! use your sidearm thats not a buff but i guess its new... so it has to be cool.... like every new weapon is "the best" but after the season nobody ueses it anymore...

Some pvps you don't have the time to change to the secondary and you have to take the clear shot with the primary. Like Rachta said, it's not a huge buff, but it's a buff anyway.

@@cripterix2167 true but you still have the rng and the longer the distance to the enemy the less is the chance where you come into a sutuation where you cant switch to your sidearm especially in the new map rarely you get cought in the open there is always some cover nearby and if you weigh out the langer headshoot range with the new rng: all in all its a nerf and the players reflect that: i rarely encounter slugs 90% is regular buckshot

I know this is unrelated, but I think Hunt would be a better game without mosin. The idea of killing someone across map by hitting their leg or arm when they have lost 1 small bar is just cheap af, it might be a meta gun but it is one of the easiest guns.

What? Mosin does 125 damage at a maximum of 50m in upper torso. I’m really confused about what you are saying. The only way to one shot a person who lost a small bar so a total of 125hp maximum, is a torso shot at 50m or less, or a headshot you cannot do 125 damage on the legs or arms even if you are touching them.

All that does is prevent (sort of) a shotgun from being an "everything" gun capable of 1hk to the body at close-mid range, and also able to snipe at long range. It is needed to prevent the shotgun from being the only weapon you would ever need for any situation, basically invalidate every other weapon in the game
