Used to be 80 at the beginning of 1896, then they changed it to 45. Didn't change anything about this gun, anyway. Bullet drop is not the most problematic thing about this gun. It's bullet deviation, that not only goes left/right, but also up/down, making the bullet drop of this gun negligible. I just want nitro to be great again 😭

Honestly, given the hits the Nitro has taken so far, I am surprised that the developers still restrict it to the aperture sights. What also does not help is that it's drop ranges seem to be just... STRANGELY explained. Because the short drop distance often does not actually feel like it is the case. It's almost as if the game describes damage drop for the Nitro in the list, rather than actual bullet drop.

with the state of nitro now crytek should either; keep crackshot but make the trait cost around 10 points, keep this hipfire accuracy default for nitro, remove the aperture, or remove the rng from quickscoping. without crackshot, nitro is just not worth the price anymore. im not saying its expensive, its just not worth the price tag.

Im fine with the 1st 2 options, pretty bizarre that they gave it so much drop and deviation. Its 1 step up from slugs, but costs 5-10 times as much. The rng could be plausible too, or even a drop in price to 700 maybe.

By the way, the bullet deviation with nitro is not just left and right, it's up and down as well. Basically, there's no point to account for bullet drop, at all.

Two-slot single-shot "howdah pistol" weapon using Nitro ammo is my most wanted "what-if" guns to be added. Also, Nitro SUBSONIC ammo will be good! it may have less speed, damage and penetration (Pen on par with "Shredder" bullets for Nitro will be ok), but will produce less "concussion" deafening effect

Nitro w/crackshot is so good i have now a number of hunters with nitro/uppercut combo. Too sad when crackshot is to be removed the Nitro will turn into a pumpkin once again.

Nitro is my fav thing to buy when I’m about to reach level 100 the last like 20 levels I play that mostly and I have to say I’m pretty sad about the huge nerfs it has had pretty much you can’t 1 shot anymore with that weapon :(

Hey Rachtaz, I had horrendous packetloss issues just like you and I solved them. It turned out I had both a routing (unstable ping with 200ms+ jumps, apparently my ISP would randomly make me go through a Chinese DNS) and a bufferbloat issue (there are nice websites to measure your score, mine was C, it's now A+). My ISP standard router's CPU couldn't handle all the requests it received and dumped packets randomly, discord or the stream wouldn't disconnect, but the game would, or vice versa. So I bought a router running openWRT and installed a Smart Queue Management algorithm (SQM: it prioritizes the packets based on my usage) on it to solve the packetloss, and subscribed to a VPN to get more optmized routes. Not a single problem since. I don't know if it's an option for you, or if your problem is related to mine, but I hope you'll fix your issues as I really love your videos and streams.

Man. Over the years, Nitro has went through so many nerfs. It's actually crazy lol The gun is designed for Elephant hunting, and Hunt Showdown's version is it being extremely neutered for what it truly is irl so it isn't so OP for a 1k cost gun. Ik hunt dollars is easy to get for a good amount of players, but the gun honestly could just be buffed but have it's price upped 10x. Maybe even 20x lol

RacthaZ got my mad respect as usual, but Nitro is foken dead even with perks. 1) Trash scope. It's ridiculous, that you can't put it down. One of the worst Hunt feature(this scope) 2) Absolute ridiculous bullet drop. As mentioned it is a rifle - so it could and it should be effective at 40-60 meters with fraction and 70-100 with bullet! How gun with this cost can't kill on this range is so bad 3) Amazing amount of bullets. It's specials, its cost more 200 bucks and refill is 1-2. Bruh So as summary u should: perfect hot at head or upper torso quick scoping no miss to kill a hunter with worst scope every and sound penalty for being deaf for 1 minute after shot. This gun is doodoo trollo CRYtek prank. I'm in deep love with Nitro as a concept of doom BFG in Hunt, but it's current state is ridiculous. Also vest part of it is as clue before game starts it says Nitro Express very dangerous gun. It can kill a Hunter with SEVERAL shots. LMAO😂😂😂

@@endlessimmersion8942 Well... 1) It's actually the funniest part about this gun. It would be completely unfun to play with and against, if you could just remove the aperture. Not only does this thing prevents this gun from being OP, it also makes successful shots feel rewarding. At least, it did, before they added the bullet deviation. 2) That's also the fun part. This gun has no problems with bullet drop, AT ALL. You can as well imagine it doesn't exist. That's because of the bullet deviation. It not only goes left and right, but also up and down. This makes the whole bullet drop thing negligible, because you can't possibly predict how high or low would bullet go. 3) Balance. It was a strong and fun gun to play with. It's still strong (removing the aperture would still make it the strongest gun in the game), but it just doesn't feel rewarding when there's a random to it, even if it's not much.
